This is the second time I’ve visited the cafe, sadly this time they were mostly sold out of fresh baked goods - it pays to order in advance!! The meals were delicious, portions sizes excellent, for a very reasonable price. I was with 3 non gluten free people and they were all more than happy with their meals too.

Excellent food, service and amazing selection of gluten and dairy free food. Everything served is gluten free with a huge selection also being dairy free. A lovely friendly cafe that I would definitely recommend. We visited while on holiday from Somerset.

Claire gluten-free bakery is in Fore Bondgate, Bishop Auckland. How didn't I know this shop existed? Spot on for customer service. Serving choices for meat eaters, vegetaria, and vegan food options. I chose vegan chickpea curry puff £2 each & a spinach and mushroom tart £3 each, bothgluten-freee. For those in a rush they were only option. Be nice for more of a quick option, including vegan cakes to choose from. For those who cake wait/ at leisure they can do a breakfast, panini.... I will definitely be back,& when I'm not in a rush. There is a paid car park,or those with disabled blue badge can park outside , double yellow lines,but not much space.

Clair's Gluten Free Bakery is a dream come true for a coeliac. Everything is so delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. The bakery feels so homely. I 100% recommend Clair's. If you're gluten free you need to try here!

Amazed by Clair's Gluten Free Bakery! Can't believe it's entirely gluten free and reasonably priced! Been raving about it to everyone! Recommend the devon split in particular - very tasty! The staff are wonderful, so friendly! The soup was delicious, so comforting for a cold Winter’s day!
