Noodles and Company | Glutenfrei in Elgin

Just threw out a $22 bowl of garbage. One bite-it tasted rancid. Noodles and co is late to the ramen train, but they attempted a ramen dish. I had to substitute rice noodles, there was also NO option for gluten-free soy sauce although 2 types of gluten-free noodles are offered suggesting they’re accommodating a gluten-free diet/need but the sauce, sadly, cannot be modified with tamari. Not thought through. Maybe it was the chicken that was rotten, or the fish sauce….which doesn’t belong on ramen, even. One hundred percent was disgusting and inedible. When I asked how the gluten-free request in the comment for sauce would be accommodated, was told, “if it’s an Asian dish it likely has soy sauce,” but was not offered an alternative or solution. Not his fault, this is a corporate issue or negligence. I hate that now my garbage can will even reek from this poorly put together dish. Also, I know there are options to modify, but just saying, this dish has PARM added on. Very very weird.
