We were there last night for the quiz night as well. Unfortunately, the experience was not positive. Right from the ordering, there were issues: a waiter asked us to wait a few minutes but only returned after about half an hour. There were five of us at the table, two vegans and one vegetarian, and we ordered exclusively vegan dishes from the menu. However, when the dishes arrived, the vegan taco trio was served with meat (an error that was later corrected). More serious was what happened with the sandwiches: we were told that one ingredient was missing and would be replaced, but the sandwich arrived completely different, almost entirely made of potatoes and with the addition of provola, even though it had been ordered vegan. Ordering a vegan dish is not a whim; often, it’s a necessity due to ethical choices or intolerances. Changing ingredients without informing, especially adding cheeses, is not acceptable. It is commendable to see vegan options on the menu, but if they cannot be managed correctly, it might be better not to offer them at all, rather than creating expectations and then disappointing them.
