How to spend a romantic, tranquil Saturday evening while eating well? You should choose Capo Horn. An extremely welcoming place, well-kept, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The only real downside is the lack of parking nearby: you are forced to use blue stripes, and if you stay for dinner, the parking cost risks exceeding that of the entire evening. A pity, because aside from that, the experience was excellent. Upon entering, we are greeted by a very kind receptionist, who quickly finds us a table for two, despite the absence of a reservation, which we recommend. At the table, we meet Noemi, the waitress: a true example of how this job is done. Friendly, empathetic, polite, and very quick, always present but never intrusive. Moving on to the food: as an appetizer, I chose bruschetta rich in cherry tomatoes, simply exquisite. My wife opted for Capo Horn bruschetta, with spicy oil and flakes of grana: truly a successful specialty, flavorful yet light, just right to start without weighing us down. We then shared a portion of sausage with fries, covered in sauces: perfect cooking and excellent flavor, confirming the very high quality of the meat from Pozzuoli's first grill. Chapter on sandwiches: being lactose intolerant, I had to compose mine, choosing a rare hamburger in a classic bun (the oil bun contained traces of milk). Here too, impeccable work in the kitchen. My wife chose the “Gustoso”: hamburger, eggplant parmesan, Agerola smoked cheese, and bacon. A rich, balanced, and truly satisfying sandwich. Accompanied by delicious baked fries. Did you think it was over? Of course not. The tiramisu was the cherry on top: huge and delicious, so much so that she couldn't finish it. In conclusion, Capo Horn rightfully enters my Top 3 places to eat in Campania. An excellent experience from every point of view... waiting for a parking spot, of course.
