I went to the bruschetteria to spend an evening with friends, convinced I could eat a good gluten-free bruschetta. To my unpleasant surprise, my expectations were immediately disappointed: at the time of ordering, I was informed that they were out of gluten-free bread. As an alternative, I was offered a crescia (obviously with gluten). In the end, I had dinner with a plate of cured ham and some chips.

I do not recommend it due to the high risk of contamination given the absence of a separate kitchen, and also because when I went there, they got the bread wrong, giving me the gluten one despite me having reiterated that I am celiac 2 times. Since there was a lot of dressing and garlic on top, the taste of the bread was completely covered, not allowing me to realize it. At home, I obviously felt very unwell, which usually doesn’t happen in cases of mere contamination.

Sorry, but I was busy eating 😂. The guy was very nice, helpful, and attentive, and the service was very fast. The flavors were the same as I remembered, and I ordered everything gluten-free. Thank you!

- Historic bruschetteria in Predappio, open for at least 30 years. - The bruschettas have always been the same, all with extravagant names and loaded with various ingredients and flavors, crispy and delicious. - The place is always packed with people almost every night, so arm yourself with patience and book in advance. In summer, it is also possible to eat outside. - Recently, some new and very tempting flavors have been added, and among the new items, there is also the option to order gluten-free bruschetta. - If you are celiac or intolerant, inform the staff. You can order your bruschetta with gluten-free bread, prepared separately and cooked in a separate oven. By informing the staff in advance, they can manage your bruschettas differently, trying to avoid contamination where possible, although unfortunately they do not have a double kitchen. - In my opinion, gluten-free bruschetta is as good as the regular one, and in addition to the paper sheet, a second sheet of foil is also inserted under the bread to avoid direct contact with the wooden support on which all the bruschettas are served.
