My boyfriend and I had two incredible meals at Vrohstoff during our recent stay in Würzburg. I was delighted to be able to try some of the ‘traditional’ German meals, as usually they wouldn’t be gluten free. My partner ordered a burger both times, and he loved them - despite him not being vegan. I also got to have my first oat milk latte, because they use the gluten free Alpro oat milk. Such a treat!

This is a healthy conscious restaurant dishing up vegan and gluten-free dishes in Wurzburg. We tried them during a recent stay in the city and were happy with our meal. Opening times are 10am to 9.30pm (Mon to Sat) and 10am to 4pm (Sun). We passed by in the early evening and found them quite full up at that time. Service was expedient and friendly, menu features a good selection of gluten free dishes. Prices are reasonable for what is offered. On the occasion, we tried their staff pick (Gina's Tipp) - sweet potato baked along with various vegetables and served with a savoury sauce. This was nice. We also liked the Viva La Mexica burger served with a bean-oat-patty. This one was a bit messy so consider using fork and knife to eat to keep your hands clean but otherwise it tasted good as well. Drinks fine on the day. Otherall, Vrohstoff is a pretty good healthy meal option for those seeking such food and dining options in Wurzburg. We be happy to eat here again during future visits to the city.

We are always excited! The vegan burgers, the matcha, and the other dishes are simply fantastic: incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. We particularly appreciate the attention given to vegan and gluten-free options, without sacrificing flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and you feel welcomed immediately. A true favorite restaurant that we love to return to. Highly recommended! 🌱

A fantastic place with a great selection of gluten-free dishes. The atmosphere and environment are lovely. The food was delicious. There’s no need to ask about preparation since everything is gluten-free.

A wonderful place for all those who enjoy consciously. Surprisingly refined is the gluten-free focaccia with avocado and olives: simple yet full of character. You can feel it: here they cook with attitude, not just with a recipe. A must for anyone expecting more than just to be full.

Located centrally it is the ideal place for places with gluten allergy amd vegans. It is well managed. Expect higher prices compared to excellent meat based dishes. A decent amount of rather highly procesded vegan ingredients. Nothing special from the service. Friendly but not very attentive. I got the feeling they rather drive the hype. Money-for-value was for me as a vegetarian not sufficient to visit that place again. For people that live the vegan hype, surely an interesting place! The best dish that day was surely the pancake.
