I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mama Eat and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. What really stood out to me was the menu. I initially expected just a few gluten-free options but to my surprise, nearly everything on the regular menu could be made gluten-free. This was a first for me and it was fantastic. Additionally, as an ovo-vegetarian, I appreciated that they were willing to modify dishes to suit my needs. The ovo-vegetarian version of the carbonara I had was absolutely delicious. Overall, the staff were wonderful, and I had a great time. It’s definitely a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking for a great meal. I highly recommend Mama Eat

A bit cramped environment, but the staff is extremely ready and friendly. The food is very good considering the context and the prices, particularly I was impressed by the crocchettone. The pastas (gricia and amatriciana) that we had were good, tasty, balanced, and not too greasy. I wouldn't recommend the pizza there, unless you want gluten-free.

Friendly english speaking staff, clearly explained what was and not gluten free. Would recommend sticking to regular pasta and pizza options, these were good options. But something like breaded veal was average, large portion size but would have been happy with half as much veal and more vegetables and salad. Quite during the day but in the evening and night extremely busy even late on Sunday close at midnight. Eat in or collections, large multi storey next door.

WARNING - An incident occurred at Mama Eat in Maximall Pompei regarding gluten-free food safety. Despite staff being informed multiple times about severe allergies for adults and a baby, non-gluten-free food was served instead of the ordered gluten-free meal. The dish was also wrongly communicated and confirmed as gluten-free when served. The mistake was only noticed after the food had already been eaten (another waiter explained too late that gluten-free dishes come on different colored plates). Serving regular food after repeated warnings shows a critical lack of safety protocols and staff training. For anyone with allergies, this type of failure can lead to serious health consequences. Therefore, this restaurant cannot be considered safe for people with allergies.

Everything is always excellent!!! I know Mama Eat, I have eaten at different locations spread across Italy and they never disappoint! All the dishes in the photos are gluten-free, delicious, abundant, and always safe for us! The salvation for us celiacs!

I ate for the second time at Mama Eat in the Maximall shopping center in Pompeii; this time I opted for a first course as I was curious to try their pasta. My boyfriend and I ordered a lasagna and a scarpariello, both gluten-free and lactose-free. What can I say? The scarpariello was delicious; the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was amazing. I liked the lasagna less; I found it a bit tough. To finish off beautifully, I tasted a dessert—a pistachio tiramisu, also super delicious, creamy, and lick-your-lips good. Highly recommended! 😉

Welcoming and clean place, with a glass view of the dancing fountain (at 2 PM we enjoyed the show from the table). The quality is that of the established brand. Due to space constraints, everything they offer is gluten-free, which is perfect for me; however, the quality is such that most of the patrons probably don't notice. The arancini are excellent, the ortolana pizza slightly moist, and the bill is reasonable.
