I visited 3 times over 4 days in Marrakech, twice alone and once with my partner. I am coeliac and they have a dedicated gluten free menu with separate preparation. For me it meant I could try some of the local dishes. First time for lunch I had couscous royale with corn-based couscous, along with gluten free bread. Huge dish very filling, a kind of mixed grill with couscous. Second time I had harira soup then berber tagine, which is chicken with vegetables, with the gf bread. Third time I tried the gf chicken pastilla. All the dishes were delicious and I would say you have to try the pastilla. The roof terrace also has a great view of the snowy Atlas, which was quite spectacular. Flawless friendly service, good toilets etc. A must visit for anyone who can't eat gluten in Morocco!

An incredible discovery in Marrakech, especially for those who are celiac. I had dinner here with three other people, and even though I was the only one with special dietary needs, I finally felt 'normal': the restaurant offers a double menu entirely gluten-free, an absolute rarity (perhaps the only one in the city). Thanks to this double choice, I was finally able to taste an exceptional chicken Pastilla, a typical dish that is usually forbidden for us elsewhere. The waiters are very young and super friendly, able to create a truly pleasant atmosphere. Although the cold forced us to give up the terrace, dining inside was a wonderful experience: the environment is well-kept, welcoming, and deeply characteristic. A place to absolutely try, not only for the safety of gluten-free options but for the very high quality of the cuisine!

Everything about this place is beautiful; the food is out of this world, good prices, and the service was WOW. The lady owner/manager was so sweet that she passed twice just to make sure that I am enjoying the food. 100% recommend it.

Fantastic restaurant.... One of the few in Marrakech with a complete menu for gluten-free people. The staff made us feel at home, very attentive and kind. The food was the best we had in Marrakech, dishes with authentic flavors, and to top it off, a very honest bill: 3 appetizers, 4 couscous tajines, one of which was gluten-free, water, and bread, we spent 513 MAD, just over 50€.

Perfect place for those who need to eat gluten-free: there is a menu, including couscous, that is gluten-free. The desserts, also gluten-free, are very good. Friendly service but very slow: not suitable for those in a hurry. Payment by card is possible.

My lady being coeliac, we had to do some researches on where to eat in the médina. Dar Tazi Marrakech was in the top 5, I can say it's the number one! They had a gluten free menu, the waiter was really helpful and understanding, the food was really really amazing, the service was perfect and the place was super cute. Was the best restaurant we've had in Marrakesh! One point to note that could be misleading, we both ordered from the gluten free menu but got some normal bread. It's ok I am not coeliac so could have it but better to double check. In theory if you order 2 gluten free menu you don't want to get normal bread, but that's only a detail. Other than that, 10/10 hidden gem!

After some negative experiences in other highly rated restaurants in Marrakech, we ended up in this women-run restaurant. Here, the atmosphere feels less geared towards mass tourism; there are no songs or folkloric scenes. The terrace is beautiful but not extravagant, filled with elements that make you think, "how lovely, I am in Morocco." At Der Tazi, the atmosphere is genuine, people speak in low voices, the food was the best we had in Marrakech, and the discreet service is timely. I would return. Recommended.

Very nice place. They have a separate menu for gluten-free products, with homemade gluten-free bread perfect for coeliacs. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about every dietary need. They are a bit slow in service.

A great tavern located in the souq of the Medina. We tried it for dinner and with a limited expense (180 MAD per person), it is possible to choose from 3 appetizers, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts; all the dishes are typical and apart from the dessert we liked the least, all the tried dishes were more than appreciated! For lunch, there are the same courses but with the option to choose just one dish. Excellent value for money.
