What really stood out for me was the Americana burger. This isn’t just any burger — it’s a substantial double-patty creation with juicy homemade beef, melted cheddar, crispy bacon, crisp lettuce, pickles, and all the classic fixings. It had that perfect balance of smoky, savory, and tangy flavors that you want in an American-style burger, and the portion was generous enough to really satisfy a big appetite. It’s easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in Alicante — indulgent without being greasy. As someone who cares about gluten-free dining, Donde Nakiss impressed me even more. The whole menu can be ordered with gluten-free options, and it’s clear the kitchen takes this seriously — not just as an afterthought. From what I tried (including gluten-free versions of their tapas and sandwiches), everything was carefully prepared so you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything just because of dietary needs. It was a discovery. Highly recommended stop for those who want really delicious food at very honest prices and super friendly staff. They even asked us if we wanted a cushion because my boyfriend had a pain in his leg. Great also for those with intolerances or allergies; they asked us twice to make sure. Definitely a place we will return to if we happen to be in Alicante again. I highly recommend the sangria as well. We had several tapas including grilled squid (delicious) and seafood paella.

This is a GEM of a place in Alicante. I found it when walking with my Dad and I am delighted we did. The food was fantastic, the croquettes - out of this world! The staff all lovely, helped us with the translations of the menu and chef Nakiss, what a star - the passion for his food shows in the taste and presentation. This is a MUST visit if you are in Alicante. It has the perfect atmosphere to enjoy great food with great service. Very well priced also ! And gluten free ! We will 100% make this a regular spot to dine in. Thanks Nakiss and all the lovely staff !

Gluten free place, litle bit hidden as you need to locate it on the map first and then search in person - unless you spot "sin gluten" in spanish. Which is not easy to do. Once you enter you can finally eat all those toastes and sandviches every bakery affectionally displays in their shields - bit in gluten free version. And thr best part is - you will not spot a difference. P.S. Toillet clean and free for customers.

I came with a friend who kindly accompanied me and we ate the ham croquettes and the fried calamari. Both were delicious and light. Rating 10! The staff is very nice and the place is very cute! For someone with celiac disease, this is paradise and they make everything completely gluten-free.
