I accepted an invitation for a pizza dinner. The choice of venue, for someone like me who suffers from a severe form of celiac disease, is quite limited. However, for the benefit of my celiac colleagues, I must say that the preventive checks for contamination are adequate. What’s wrong with the pizzeria is the pizza itself, which is probably of industrial quality and tasteless. I must say that the pizza exceeded negative expectations: certainly, the frozen pizzas I buy at the supermarket are of the same level. So the question I ask is: why spend such a hefty amount of money if you can get the same quality for a quarter of the price? Service: slow, so slow that it couldn’t be slower. I felt drowsy. Venue: it was quite nice. So conclusion: aside from the pizza and the service, the rest was okay. Question: but why inflict harm on oneself and spend money to do so? Let posterity answer that. In the meantime, many regards. (Poor us celiacs, we’re in a bad state if this is the quality scenario).
