Sarah our waitress was excellent. She helped my daughter find her gluten free foods. And checked the other food that might make her sick, due to her other allergies. Derrick was fantastic as well. The entire staff was great, helpful and friendly. I recommend this restaurant to everyone that comes to Chicago. Thank you from guests from Kansas.❤

Bongo Room has good coffee, creative adult brunch drinks, and there's almost always super, attentive service. The long wait for food, especially on the weekends, is warranted because their traditional breakfasts and inspired brunch dishes are worth waiting for! But, I am not very impressed with their food choices for folks who are allergic to gluten. For example, they do not have any gluten free grain product like bread, muffins, pancakes or bagels. And when you ask for a little bowl of fruit substituted for pancakes or bread due to an allergy, they refuse because it is against their policy. It's a shame because they do so many things so well....
