The Malnati salad is to die for. One of the best salads I’ve ever had in my life. I also appreciate that they have gluten free options, including GF deep dish pizza. The hot honey pizza was tasty, although I could have gone for a bit more giardineira. All in all a good experience. I have a feeling I’ll be working for a while trying to recreate that salad at home.

The place was great, as well as the service. The dough on the gluten free pizza however was terribly undercooked, which was a shame because the great pizza was ruined by its raw dough.

The service was good and attentive but the gluten free deep dish was not fully edible. The crust was so hard that it cut the roof of my mouth. I also couldn't cut it into smaller pieces with a knife either. The "filling" however was delicious. The server said they don't do the crust in-house so they couldn't do anything about it. Do not order GF deep dish. Next time, I will order the crust-less one.

I could not go to Chicago without trying deep dish, pizza! I am gluten-free, and they had an excellent option. I will say that, for the most part, I ate the toppings and the sauce, but they were really good. I enjoyed the sauce a lot!

All in all great experience. I tryed deep dish pizza for the first time so cannot compare it to other Chicago famous pizzas. Just make sure you reserve your place before coming, place is crowded. Pizza is waited for 30-45 min, but appetizer salads are great. They have gluten-free pizzas and you can choose your own components so you’ll have no dietary problem. Take into consideration small pizza is probably like big pizza in Europe by calories.

They say you have to try a deep-dish pizza from Lou Malnati's when you're in Chicago - and so I did. The experience unfortunately fell short of my expectations and I think it's a bit over-hyped. While the atmosphere and neighborhood of the restaurant is great, the taste of the pizza was far from it. I got the Gluten free option, which was a mistake as the dough was very hard and thin. The pizza toppings also didn't make it much better as it tasted more like a heavy tomato sauce cake topped with lots of cheese. Perhaps I also had a sub-par experience as my waiter misunderstood my order. In any case, the waiter was still friendly and helpful, but overall I wouldn't come back anytime soon. As I reflect, even Pizza Hut's pan pizza is better in taste than what I had here.

A great place to go any day for drinks or pizza! Love the Lou Malnatis location! I love that they offer a gluten free option for crust. The deep dish pizza is very filling in just 1 slice. We usually order a large sausage thin crust pizza for 4-5 people. It's very filling for everyone with the house salad and their house vinaigrette dressing. Great place to host birthdays, anniversaries, work team meetings, family reunions 😊 I tried their twisted lemonade drink it was delicious!! (Vodka, blueberry syrup, and lemonade)
