This is a great stop for coffee and a vegan cake or pie on the top level of Corte Ingles. Not many places offer dairy-free desserts so are they pleasant surprise to find some options to please my sweet tooth.

Wonderful section of cakes, cupcakes, macaron (cookies) and loaves. Nice selection of teas and coffees available. Also some prepared salads available. And make sure you walk around to look at the views of Madrid

We stopped by for carrot cake. It was good. Other great cakes were available as well.

We did a search for breakfast near our apartment and decided to stop by based on some of the reviews and photos. Was a bit disappointed with the eggs benedict as this was the first time I had it with basically hard boiled eggs on top and a clear runny sauce. We had this, two coffees and three single toasts with jam…it was expensive.
