Cómete México - Ríos Rosas is a cozy Mexican restaurant, ideal for those with celiac disease thanks to its widely gluten-free menu. Appreciated for excellent service and generous portions, it offers a lively atmosphere with engaging music. Recommended for those seeking a good culinary experience and a wide selection of drinks.

We were a large group of friends on Saturday for the Christmas meal, where 6 were celiac and they all got contaminated with gluten. They told us it was 100% reliable gluten-free, all a lie. Not recommendable for celiacs. They had no care regarding gluten.

Very bad experience. We chose this restaurant because it clearly advertised gluten-free options, something fundamental for people with celiac disease. When we asked the staff, they confirmed that they could adapt several dishes and that there would be no problem. The reality was very different. After the meal, several people with celiac disease in the group suffered a severe reaction consistent with gluten contamination, showing clear symptoms of poisoning. This demonstrates a serious lack of control in the kitchen and a total ignorance of what it means to offer safe food for celiacs. It is not acceptable to advertise gluten-free options if the minimum protocols to avoid cross-contamination are not respected. Playing with customers' health is very serious. I certainly do not recommend it at all to people with celiac disease or anyone who values responsible allergen management.

If I am celiac, do not come here. I was told everything was gluten-free and that they were very careful, which was a lie. We had to repeat several times that we were a group of 6 celiacs in a large group. At one point, they served me (celiac) pancakes with gluten; they had no control whatsoever, despite us asking, everything was supposedly safe. LIE! I felt like vomiting, dizzy, unwell, poisoned by gluten. Thanks for ruining my day with my friends for Christmas!

We went to eat with several people with celiac disease because they guaranteed us that everything was gluten-free and free from traces or cross-contamination. Not suitable for celiacs because we all felt very, very bad. Even with that and having one of the girls file a complaint, they still say that everything is gluten-free, when it clearly is not.

Everything was great, the food delicious, the atmosphere incredible, and the music awesome. Also, the portions are huge! Great for celiacs, almost the entire menu has gluten-free options.

A great place to have dinner with Mexican food, and the best part is that almost the whole menu is gluten-free, a good spot for celiacs. And if you are a member of the celiac association of Madrid, they offer a discount.

Varied tacos, good flavor, normal prices, and a nice atmosphere. They have gluten-free options.

We went today, we notified the reservation that we were with celiacs and the waiter more than once as well, and that we would order everything gluten-free. For two children, we ordered quesadillas and they were made with wheat, fortunately they were not the celiacs, but we realized later when instead of corn tortillas, they mistakenly brought us wheat ones and the color gave it away. When it came to desserts, the ones marked as gluten-free said, "may contain traces," and they told us that some celiacs can eat traces of gluten. Well, no, a celiac has a disease for which the only cure is a gluten-free diet; it's not the same as being intolerant or allergic. It's a shame that the celiac society of Madrid endorses them. The feeling we left with was bad, that they are not aware of the importance of gluten-free for celiacs; instead of leaving happy and calm, we left worried. If there are celiac people, I do not recommend it.

The kitchen of the place, while not bad, lacks elaboration in the dishes. It is true that the portions are very generous. Good quality-price ratio, although it is advisable to reserve with The Fork for the additional discount; without this, it seems a bit expensive to me. If I were to recommend something, as long as you don't mind bagged totopos, it would be the nachos with guacamole, which are not bad. Another plus is that it is a restaurant suitable for celiacs. The service is top-notch, very attentive and friendly.

Mexican food restaurant. We had been to the General Pardiñas location before, and since this one has a terrace, we wanted to try it. Although the weather was nice, the service was quite attentive. The dishes were just as delicious as the ones we had tried at the other location. They serve a small appetizer of nachos with three sauces; be careful, they are quite spicy. I liked the portion of nachos because, in addition to being large, it came with chunks of meat, not the typical ground meat. If you like milder flavors, I recommend the chicken with squash blossoms. They have gluten-free dishes and tortas. Great beer selection. Good value for money. We will repeat.
