I am celiac and I went to Foster because I had a good memory years ago that the food was acceptable. To start, I asked the waiter for a regular gluten-free beef hamburger, besides taking longer than the one of the person I was dining with, they brought me a chicken one. 20 minutes later they brought it to me, but it was very rare when I had asked for it medium. Finally, they cooked it longer, but when they brought it back the cheese and bacon were cold as if they had just come out of the fridge (because when they gave me the meat, they put new bacon, cheese, and bread). In the end, I spoke with the manager and they offered me the hamburger for free, but I was left with a very bad taste of the place. After this, I definitely won’t come back again. Except for the manager, the customer service left much to be desired.

If you're a normal person it's a good restaurant, but if you have a food illness like celiac disease, I don't recommend it. I've been celiac since childhood and I have never been so discriminated against in a restaurant. Did anyone else know that water had gluten? Because I just found out. The waiters are nice, but the protocol seems outrageous to me. Besides, my normal friends' food came out at 4 and mine at 4:40 because it was gluten-free.

I went to Foster's Hollywood in Rivas because I saw that it is one of the few places that has some gluten-free options. The options are very few, and it's a shame, as I believe that if they expanded the menu, many people with celiac disease would be encouraged to go. As an appetizer, they only have potatoes with bacon and cheese, and for main dishes, they offer ribs or chicken or beef burgers. The desserts were more varied: ice cream, brownie, or milkshakes. We had chicken and beef burgers, and they were very good, and for dessert, a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, delicious. Honestly, for a gluten-free meal, it was really well done. We liked the speed of the waiters, as well as how attentive they were. It's true that we went early, around 1:30 PM, and in half an hour, it started to fill up with people. We went without a reservation; I recommend making one if you go later than 1:30 PM to avoid queues. On a down note, they only have Pepsi. Easy parking area. I update my review to lower the points for the following reason. I went one day for lunch during the week with a non-celiac person, and to my surprise, although they say they have a menu during the week, non-celiacs can enjoy it, but celiacs cannot. I find this totally discriminatory; I mentioned it to the waiter, who agreed with me but said he couldn't do anything and that it was what it was. The menu price for the non-celiac person was €14.95, which included a first course, a second course, a drink, and a dessert. My gluten-free burger cost €13.95, of course, without including another course, drink, or dessert. Celiacs or people with any other food restrictions do not choose to have this kind of illness. I understand that gluten-free products are more expensive, but this is unacceptable. I don't think I will return, nor can I recommend it to celiac people, as I find it a terrible policy on the part of the company, and I do not share it. Celiac disease is not a trend; it is an illness.

Very nice terrace at sunset, watching the sunset and enjoying some good bacon cheese fries with family. Due to the pandemic, we prefer to go to places with an open terrace and be calm, and this place meets that requirement. They have a large terrace where you can spend good time with family. In addition, they have a gluten-free menu, which unfortunately not all Foster locations have. As soon as you arrive, the gluten-free menu is discussed and they quickly inform the kitchen to start preparing. On this last occasion, we ordered some bacon cheese fries (as always spectacular, they never disappoint), a Doctor's Choice burger cooked to perfection (good amount and well prepared), and a Mediterranean salad (too bad they removed the balsamic vinegar, it gave it a perfect flavor; the ham is exquisite). On other occasions, we have ordered chicken with baked potato (very well baked and flavorful). For the child, on this occasion, we ordered the kids' menu with macaroni (perfect texture) and chocolate crepe (very tasty); on the previous visit, he ordered cavatappi pasta with a delicious cheesy flavor and very creamy (good amount). I recommend it, good service, careful with the gluten-free menu, well prepared, and a perfect terrace at sunset.
