On our first visit to Almeria we googled “Almeria sin gluten” and found this fabulous restaurant. What a wonderful treat for a coeliac to have so many gluten free options on the menu. And to be served by such smiling, , friendly and helpful staff! Not surprisingly the place was buzzing and though we had to wait we were made to feel comfortable while we did. Definitely to be recommended. Ann

Excellent gluten-free restaurant. I recommend visiting if you're passing through Almería or if you're a resident. Most dishes can be made gluten-free. I ordered bacon and cheese pizzas, which were very good; it was a generous half portion. For our main courses, we ordered gluten-free carbonara and tuna and mushroom pizzas, both delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. It's always nice to receive that kind of treatment in a restaurant. If you have any leftovers, they'll pack them up for you to take away. There's a wide selection on the menu: hamburgers, kebabs, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, quesadillas, and several desserts, and practically all of them are gluten-free.

What's striking here is that everyone orders fries as a starter, and you should. I highly recommend the Patatas GOLETA Plus. Overall, the food is delicious and the service is super friendly, with very fair prices. Bring a big appetite 😉.

We made a special visit to Golata 55 on New Years Eve and were met with the most wonderfully kind and generous hosts. We can’t wait to visit again and are looking forward to enjoying our gluten free truffles! Thanks for making our New Year’s Eve so special. Emily & Rob
