Review: The food was absolutely delicious! They even had a special menu where all gluten-free options were clearly marked, making it much easier for people with allergies or intolerances to order. Additionally, the sushi was prepared separately to avoid cross-contamination. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant had a super cute interior. Ipanema is highly recommended!

They advertise gluten free sushi but their gluten free menu is a mess. I asked for a Substitution in one of their menu items swapping a roll of the same exact price and asked to simply remove the one gluten item. The waitress counted this as too many substitutions and said it couldn’t be done. Made no sense whatsoever - I was willing to pay more for less food but they wouldn’t accommodate. Don’t advertise gluten free if you’re not willing to accommodate those of us with celiac.

Best GLUTEN FREE sushi ever!! I recommend booking in advance because the place is always full. Excellent value for money, informal and welcoming environment, very attentive staff trained on intolerances. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, but what really stood out to me was how friendly and helpful the staff was. They went the extra mile to cater for my celiac disease and make sure the sushi is gluten free. The waiter even brought us the package to make sure it doesn't contain any traces of gluten. I really recommend it!
