Ate here on holiday and found one of my favourite meals in Frankfurt, and outside the country too. Had the most tasty and tender schnitzel, beautiful sides too, followed by their fluffy pancake. All was gluten free but better than most 'regular' food we have had. Even the bread was fluffy and crusty, could have brought an entire loaf home. Staff were lovely and friendly and service was fast yet relaxed. Deserves more than 5 stars and would eagerly eat here regularly if we could. Thanks for the great experience.

Fantastic meal. The entire menu is also available gluten-free. They have delicious gluten-free bread to start. And they accommodate everything. Haven't eaten this well in ages. Even alcohol-free sparkling wine.

I've never eaten so well (gluten-free) as at Restaurant Lohninger! Due to the chef's personal experience with gluten intolerance, the staff is perfectly prepared for gluten-free guests. All questions can be answered in detail, there are no uncertainties, and I always felt well advised and safe. Gluten-free bread in various forms (e.g., sourdough bread and rosemary focaccia) is served to the table in advance - a poem, it's already worth going just for that. We have visited the restaurant several times, and everything on the menu is truly recommendable. The gluten-free pasta is excellent, but I have never eaten meat dishes better anywhere else. The pastrami sandwich is a highlight. Desserts aren’t overlooked either; there are gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn, chocolate souffle from another star, and more options. A reservation is absolutely necessary, with a lead time of about 4 weeks to plan for it, as it is very busy.
