We arrived after a 10hr drive from the UK & it was about 7pm. There surprisingly weren’t many places open and our French is limited, but we were using it as much as we could to enquire about gluten free options. I’m pretty sure we tried ordering burgers in a strip club that wasn’t fully open yet… Then we walked round the corner and found Zappo! The staff were incredibly kind, there were gluten free options for our coeliac member of the group and the restaurant was clean, vibrant and they honestly couldn’t have done enough for us. If I ever come to Lyon again, I will absolutely use this place again! The pizza’s were a great size and incredibly cheesy and tasty! They even let us take some wine back as all the shops had closed by the time we finished - amazing service! Merci beaucoup! 👌🏼
