I want to start with saying I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review before. There is nothing I love more than promoting businesses & supporting them. Yesterday we decided to order verde for my 6 year old son and I because we have celiac and verde says everything is gluten free. We were going to call and order online but the menu was down so I sent my husband to order there. All I wanted was two orders of a cheese quesadilla & 2 orders of rice. He had to wait over an hour because they messed up his order the first time. He finally gets back to the house and the picture I shared below is one of the two orders of rice he got. I would have just accepted that until he proceeds to tell me that costed him $13! And he got two orders so $26 for two small globs of rice. It wasn’t then until I looked at the quesadilla that I realized it was just a tortilla with dry, barely melted cheese in it. & we also didn’t get our side of sour cream we asked for. Part of me wanted to just give it to my hungry son because all the other kids had already eaten and just chalk it up as a loss but even he was disgusted by the looks of it. I ended up having to just make him a frozen pizza because at this point it was already 830 and other safe places he could eat at were closing. My husband went back because for how much we paid and what we got was so so unacceptable. Yes- we got our money back. But the manager/owner (not sure who it was) wouldn’t even make eye contact or even say a simple “sorry”. There was a big group of us together and all of us were just in complete disbelief. Sadly- none of us will be going back. Really unfortunate because I had this place over a year ago when I was in town and I thought it was wonderful :( not sure what happened.
