Leopoldo Cafebar - Gluten Free offers a wide range of gluten-free sweets and products in a welcoming environment. The quality of the desserts, from babbà to pastiera, is excellent and satisfies even non-celiac palates. Recommended for the variety and high quality of the products.

*The absolute paradise for celiacs (and not just them!): quality and tradition without compromise* If you are in Naples and looking for the best gluten free options, this place is a must-visit. The certainty of being able to enter a historic Neapolitan pastry shop and be in a 100% gluten-free environment (with plenty of options also lactose-free) eliminates any anxiety about contamination and brings immense joy. The display of sweets is spectacular: babà, sfogliatelle (ricce and flisce), zeppole, and cookies that have nothing to envy from the "traditional" versions. Everything we tasted was fresh, light, and incredibly delicious. A special mention also goes to the savory section and the bread, soft and tasty as rarely found in the gluten-free world. The location is in an exceptional strategic position, just a short walk from Piazza Cavour and the National Archaeological Museum (very close to the metro stations). The staff is always kind, welcoming, and attentive. Fair prices for the quality offered. Kudos to the Leopoldo family for making Neapolitan pastry tradition accessible to everyone, without making you miss anything. Highly recommended 100%!

We had a snack to recharge our batteries. A café/pastry shop with a wide selection of sweets. Delicious desserts, friendly staff, super-fast service, and a good price.
4
Excellent pastry products, both sweet and savory. Maximum attention. Prices a bit high. I give 4 stars because the table service is very slow, as priority is given to clearing the queue at the checkout for takeout.
5
Croissants, clouds, and super delicious bombs! Wide selection of sweet and savory products, all gluten-free! Highly recommended
5
everything is very good, both sweet and savory!

It was a surprise & pleasure to find Leopoldo’s Gluten Free Bakery Shop in Napoli. It is very rare to find places that are fully gluten-free and still have such a huge variety. We not only purchased local delicacies there once, but multiple times throughout the four days we were in Naples. That included cookies, savory sweet almond taralli (yummm) absolutely delicious sfogiatella riccia crunchy ricotta filled local pastries and coffee. Everything was very good and it was also very close to our hotel, which made it even more convenient. I honestly think places like this would do very well outside of Naples too. Keep up the good work. Grazzie !

Very disappointing experience. The desserts were not that good, but the pricing felt misleading and not transparent at all. The prices displayed at the counter were lower than what we were charged on the receipt, and nobody explained any extra charges or differences in product versions. The receipt even shows the seating/service charge (‘coperto’) as €0, so there was no clear communication about why some items suddenly cost more at checkout. As tourists, this honestly made us feel taken advantage of. Transparency matters, especially when customers are ordering based on the prices displayed in front of them. That is simply disgusting of you, and I hope karma gets you because you exploited us. I would recommend the staff communicate prices more clearly to avoid misunderstandings like this in the future. That is simply disgusting of you, and I hope karma gets you because you exploited us. You should be grateful that I’m spending my money and sitting here, yet you make me wait 15 minutes while prioritizing locals. On top of that, the girl with the filler lips is giving me bad looks.
5
Wow - what an unreal selection of pastries and bakery items!! I went twice and spent 10 mins deciding each time 😂 everything I tried was delicious!! This is the gluten free bakery part and the business has a ‘normal’ bakery and cafe too. You must stop here if you’re in Naples!! I also could not believe how affordable it was… three pastries were only €4!
5
The bread is super good, the same goes for the desserts, the place is 100% SG so there is no risk of contamination.
4
great for desserts and bread, I practically didn't see any in 4 days, and the pizza was just okay (except for the fried one which is good but even the plain fried one was decent). Anyway, highly approved for sweet breakfasts.
5
Place with gluten-free pastries and savory options with a separate menu. I had the very good riccia sfogliatella!
5
It had been a long time since I enjoyed such good sweets. It's definitely worth buying any sweet; without a doubt, the best is the Sflogliatella.
4
Very tasty pastry and desserts. Too bad the tables aren't very comfortable and there's always so many people around, so it's not a place to just sit down and chat with a cup of coffee. But then again, Neapolitan cafes probably just never are.
4
Great pastry shop all gluten-free, they also sell fresh bread. It's a pity that they were very courteous, and we waited a really long time to be served at the table. The prices are higher compared to another pastry shop in Vomero, which I preferred. A lot of confusion inside. We took 1 plain sfogliatella and one riccia for 6 euros. At the table, 2 coffees, a cannoli, and a babà for 13 euros. A bit too much in my opinion. Very good pastry shop. It is located in front of the metro stop Museo. Highly recommended!
5
When I had the opportunity to sit down and have a treat at the café with a tea, with the normality that celiac disease took away from me, I started to cry. THANK YOU LEOPOLDO 💕 I loved you before the diagnosis, and I love you even now! Wonderful place, delicious food, amazing desserts, friendly staff! I can't wait to go back!
4
I was happy to eat certain things again after such a long time, everything was delicious. The croissant was very stuffed, the bread was excellent along with the Neapolitan sandwich. According to my brother, they didn't even seem gluten free!
5
Paradise for celiacs! There is a variety of both savory and sweet Neapolitan specialties. The bar is next to a gluten-filled "Leopoldo", so you have the option to order both gluten-free and with gluten. Highly recommended!
4
During my stay in Naples, I went every day. The pastry shop is excellent. Some assistants (not all) are not willing to provide explanations.
4
The whole bar is gluten-free and everything is delicious. They also make food for a quick lunch, like calzones and various small pizzas. It's a shame about the place, which is always a complete chaos.
5
The true first gluten-free bar-pastry shop in Naples. Amazing brioche. Great bread, in a "cafone" style.
4
great gluten-free products and a wide selection.
5
If you're looking for a café with gluten-free pastries, Leopoldo is the place for you. There are plenty of choices, both sweet and savory (although the main offering is clearly focused on sweets). I’ve tasted many of their little pastries, and while I expected perhaps something more from some of them at first, I was still pleased with the overall quality. However, I truly fell in love with the croissant: it was simply excellent. I had never tried such a good gluten-free croissant, super soft and flavorful. Equally outstanding was the prussian, which I enjoyed a lot. I must be honest, with the rest of the pastry (apart from these two excellences) I wasn’t as enthusiastic as with the croissant, but the impression is still positive. Overall, it’s a place I recommend, especially for those desperately searching for a croissant worthy of the name!
5
Everything gluten-free, wide selection of sweet and savory. Recommended!!
5
the paradise for celiacs, you can find everything from sweet to savory and the quality is excellent
5
Everything gluten-free, wide choice of sweet and savory. Very good.
5
A place dedicated exclusively to the world of celiacs, attentive and available staff.. Excellent food from breakfast to lunch....I highly recommend trying the fried focaccia stuffed with ricotta and ham and the tongues with any seasoning....everything is delicious....5 stars are really few, it deserves much more...highly recommended
5
Very nice bar and delicious sweets. I am lactose intolerant, and for the first time, I had a variety of choices with fresh pastry products and not packaged ones. In the span of a morning, I went there twice; for those who eat gluten-free and lactose-free, I recommend their sacher, which is excellent. Sweet and kind staff, I will definitely return to this bar ❤️

Good food, plenty of choices, and normal prices. I tried a riccia sfogliatella and a zeppola; the first one looked quite unappealing, not having the typical look of a normal sfogliatella, it seemed like one solid piece. Nevertheless, the taste was good, quite similar to the gluten version. The zeppola was delicious, however, identical to the gluten one. Organization and service were terrible. If it weren't the only place I know that offers gluten-free pastries, I wouldn't go back. Rude, slow, and rather unfriendly. I was with a friend; we entered, and at first, no one acknowledged us. Finally, when it was time to order, they asked if we wanted to eat there or take it away, so we replied that we wanted to eat there. They told us to wait as they would come right away (the place was empty; we were the only ones ordering at that moment). Fifteen minutes passed, and still, no one had served us. Annoyed and impatient, we went up and had to line up again to order something, but this time to take away and eat it elsewhere, given the terrible service. For each order, they took an eternity... it really made us lose the will to live.
5
For me, it's a paradise for celiacs. I tried various things, both sweet and savory, and they were truly delicious. The bread really seemed glutenous because it was so good.
5
Very high variety of products, but excellent quality, especially the crispy bread.
5
There is everything and it's all good, but the bread makes you forget that you're an exceptional celiac.
1
Awful breakfast (with a cherry on top, or rather: a sour cherry, inside).\n\nThere are three of us, and after this "breakfast", we looked into each other's eyes and just one glance was enough to understand that we will never set foot here again.\n\nLet's start with the prices, because you need broad shoulders (and an even broader wallet): sky-high, with not a hint of justification. We paid €26 for 3 sweets, 2 juices, 2 waters, and a tea. Well, one might think: "Maybe it will all be impeccable."\nSpoiler: no.\n\nThe staff is unfriendly, rushed, and even bothered if you dare to ask anything. Like it's a favor. The atmosphere? Countdown style, they rush you to order, rush you to eat, to pay before eating (while seated at the table), and rush you to leave.\n\nThe food? Yes, good. But absolutely forgettable, especially considering how many excellent pastry shops Naples has to offer. Here, nothing truly worth remembering.\n\nHighlights: \n• One of us ordered a brioche with sour cherry and it contained exactly one. Not one as in ‘a few’; just one single sour cherry. Touching. \n• Another ordered an artisanal tea and received a nice… Estathé. \n• Cherry on the cake: After ordering and paying for a cream puff, we were informed – with absolute nonchalance – that only the gluten-free version was available (at least we can say in their favor that they have a wide assortment of gluten-free products, as one would expect from the name)\n\nIf you want to start the day with a bad mood, go ahead. Otherwise, do yourself a favor: go elsewhere. Naples awaits you with genuine breakfasts and real smiles.
5
Bakery and pastry shop all gluten-free, with a twin location next door that has gluten. Excellent both for pastries and savory products. The best products for me are fried pizza and bomboloni, or as I say here, bombette! Prices are not cheap, with pastries at 30 euros per kg. If you pass through Naples, it’s worth trying.
3
Eating at the restaurant, we had a great time: wide choice and good price, the quality was excellent. We then chose to order takeout on the same day and did not notice the same quality, as the products were not fresh. We recommend going in person; the place is also very nice.
5
A fantastic place for those with gluten issues and not only. Excellent products made with passion. Friendly and professional quality staff. A world without gluten and lactose. Try the cream puffs!
2
I stopped for a quick lunch break and this was the result: options and quality of savory food were disappointingly low, seating was cramped and sticky next to each other, food and drinks served on paper plates and cups, and to top it off, a hefty bill. I am very disappointed also because the promotional videos found on various channels promised a lot; I wish I could say otherwise, but unfortunately I do not recommend it.
2
I was ready to describe it as a paradise. Upon our arrival, there were a few crowded tables, we sat down, and no one paid attention to us. We wanted a quick lunch break, so we ordered a sandwich and a focaccia, both terrible, heated in a microwave and half cold or frozen. The total was €16 with water. I couldn't try the pastry because the guy wasn't sure what was or wasn't gluten-free... a sad disappointment... I expected a lot based on the videos and reviews.

I have been a long-time customer of Leopoldo Senza Glutine since it opened its first location. Over time, I've brought friends, left positive reviews, recommended, and sponsored the pastry shop because I have always believed in the quality and professionalism of the brand. Unfortunately, after my last experience, I have to change my mind. For my graduation day, a special moment for me, I ordered a customized Red Velvet cake well in advance, paying extreme attention to every detail. During discussions with the staff, I specified several times that I did not want cream or fondant, as I do not like them. I also showed pictures of the cake, emphasizing the importance of respecting both the aesthetics and original taste: red batter and cream cheese. On the day of the party, I found myself with a cake completely different from what I had requested: a white sponge cake with cream, with no trace of cream cheese and, by the way, decorated in a haphazard manner. All of this at a cost of €95 for a 'tall' cake made mostly of half polystyrene. Even the writing on the cake was done carelessly, far from the level of fame that Leopoldo has boasted for years. We had also agreed on large real roses as decoration, for which I was asked to pay an extra €2.50 per rose. I had repeatedly asked for confirmation that they would indeed be large, and I was assured: it wasn’t so. The result? A cake presented all day as Red Velvet, left on the plates by the guests. A great disappointment, especially for me who took care of every detail with love and expected to be able to rely on a trusted brand. In response to my report, I was told that "we must have misunderstood" and that for them Red Velvet is white sponge cake with cream cheese – cream which I did not find, because what I received was just cream, by the way gelatinous and heavy, probably due to the excessive presence of gelatin. The truth is that sometimes, just to take an order, requests are accepted that cannot be fulfilled. And this, I’m sorry to say, is not professionalism, but a mockery. Today Leopoldo Senza Glutine relies heavily on tourism, thanks to its central location, but for those who have been loyal and consistent customers over time, the attention and care seem to be a distant memory.
5
Leopoldo gluten-free has no equals; it is the best pastry shop with a wide variety of gluten-free and lactose-free sweets (and more). I have been going there for years, and not once have I left unhappy. A paradise for celiacs and those intolerant to lactose. One of the best treats are the croissants; sometimes I find it hard to believe they are gluten-free because they look just like regular ones, and the taste is incredible... The staff, despite changing over the years, has always been super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. In short, a guarantee!!!
4
A totally gluten-free pastry shop/bakery, or almost. The place is very well-kept, with a counter dedicated to bar service and one dedicated to bakery and pastry. Unfortunately, the service is very disorganized. The shop really offers a lot of excellent products that are very well made; however, I did not appreciate the possibility for those consuming at the counter to order gluten products from the adjacent location, which raises concerns about cross-contamination. From what I could see, the establishment was associated with AIC in 2019, but currently, it is not listed among affiliated locations.
5
everything is very good, everything is gluten-free and many products are also lactose-free. Perfect for trying typical Neapolitan sweets that are gluten-free. It also has savory products.
5
A dream for us celiacs! Everything was fantastic, enjoyed on the spot and taken home for my kids: taralli, sfogliatelle, and crostatine.... wonderful!
5
I loved this place, they have a wide range of gluten-free sweets but also savory options! Great for breakfast or a snack after the Archaeological Museum.
5
Fantastic pastry shop, excellent gluten-free products, I ate their sfogliatelle, fantastic, nothing else to say except highly recommended!
5
the dream of every celiac! we had a rich and highly recommended aperitif, we really want to come back for breakfast, it's an experience to try!
5
A paradise for greedy celiacs, vast selection and everything excellent. The place is small, so in case of high attendance they may have difficulties. But Leopoldo is proof that gluten-free is possible, without sacrificing taste.
4
rather disorganized service, but the pastries are delicious. it's worth it
5
Leopoldo is a well-known chain of pastry shops in Naples. One of these is entirely dedicated to gluten-free!!! A paradise for gluten-sensitive foodies!!! An extensive variety from bread to sweets with the highest quality. Absolutely highly recommended!
5
First of all, I compliment you on the vast range of gluten-free and lactose-free products; it’s a unique offering that's rare, and for someone with celiac disease, it truly is a paradise. We came for breakfast 3 mornings in a row to try a bit of everything, and we were always satisfied. I recommend trying croissants, sfogliatelle, graffe, and Neapolitan sandwiches. The graffe and sfogliatelle (pastries) are identical to the regular ones. Prices are fair; the difference between a gluten product and a gluten-free one is minimal. Really well done!
5
I tried the bread, the riccia sfogliatella, the escarole pizza, and the cookies. Everything was amazing.
4
Any baked goods or pastry that comes to mind can be found here and gluten-free. The only drawback that annoys me is the constant emphasis that the products are gluten-free, which is made every time you are about to order. Their products would make many pastry shops envious, and it’s a shame to hear the same employees highlighting the 'diversity' of what they sell.
4
We visited twice to enjoy gluten-free pastries, especially babà, sfogliatelle, lemon delights, and nuvolette. We tried both the plain and pistachio versions. The prices are fair. You can also find gluten-free bread and typical Apulian taralli with pepper, almonds, and lard. They also ship within Italy if needed. The only downside, which is not five stars but more like two, is that you cannot sit comfortably inside to enjoy something because you are constantly bumped by other people, as they have set up six tables where perhaps there is strictly room for four! It's unlivable, plus the staff doesn't come to take your order even though they are right behind the counter and have seen you for a while. You have to look at them multiple times before they come.
5
Friendly and helpful staff. As for the food… gluten-free and lactose-free, what more could you ask for? Everything is delicious, you absolutely have to go there! They have seating both outside and inside, and it's very close to the metro. The Parisian sausage and friarielli is something exceptional.
5
aperitif formula with pizza by the slice, spectacular sweets. a waking dream
5
I believe I could have stayed here forever! A magical gluten-free world of infinite goodness.
4
Small but satisfies the palate of us celiacs, from the well-stocked pastry shop to the rotisserie. Moderate prices, except if you eat at the table.
5
Best gluten-free breakfast. Wide variety (croissants with different fillings, sfogliatelle, babà, tarts, ice cream, and soooo much more, all delicious) with EXCELLENT quality 😍😍. Friendly and kind staff. Next to the gluten-free option, there's traditional Leopoldo so everyone can have breakfast together. Highly recommended!!
5
excellence 🤩
5
Incredible and varied gluten-free selection, from donuts, croissants, to sacker, babbà, and mini pastries; a real delight for those who, being celiac, often have to settle! Available almost everything also lactose-free. I had a babbà with strawberries and cream and a mini tiramisu gluten-free. I’m very satisfied with the babbà; in my opinion, the thread of chocolate and hazelnut cream at the bottom of the mini tiramisu overshadowed some of the other flavors, but it was still good. The staff was kind and helpful, unfortunately (perhaps because it was Saturday morning) it was quite crowded, and being a small place, it felt a bit cramped. The style and decor of the place are very nice. The location near the metro is very convenient and strategic. Recommended!
5
Everything gluten-free, the strawberry zeppoline are delicious. Very honest prices and very good products. Highly recommended!
5
central location, their gluten-free pastry products are amazing and really very good, the staff is helpful and kind but the place is a bit cramped... however, the experience of eating their products is worth it!
5
simply sublime
5
I went to the Cafebar to get some typical gluten-free sweets.. I was truly surprised by the quality and taste of the desserts.. exceptional zeppola.. Babà with cream and strawberries divine.. not to mention the cannoli.. and last but not least, chiacchiere.. a paradise for us celiacs.. you have to try to believe!!!
5
We went to this place that has all kinds of gluten-free sweet and savory items! It was truly a nice experience for those who are celiac!
5
great
1
Appreciable that the gluten-free display is separate from the one with gluten. Many products available also lactose-free. I took a gluten-free soup but I didn't really like it, maybe I chose the wrong product. The price is too high, coffee at 2.50 seems excessive. Terrible service, rudeness towards the customer (when I was there, there was a girl locked in the bathroom and all the employees outside, instead of calming her down, were mocking her, along with other customers. A really pathetic scene.). When they managed to get her out, she explained (justifiably beside herself, and I would be too!) that she had gone to the bathroom because a sales assistant told her to, even though there was a sign saying 'out of order.' In fact, thinking about myself, if I had simply needed to change clothes or had other typical feminine needs, a broken bathroom could have been useful. I put myself in her shoes and imagined the fear of being locked inside. Remember, the customer is always right, and arrogance does not create a good image. In fact, I wanted to go back for seconds, but after this scene, I felt nauseous and left.
5
everything was delicious, from the small pizzas to the desserts......
5
I go there very often since I am intolerant to lactose and gluten! The quality-price ratio is excellent, and I usually stock up on both sweet and savory items! My favorites are the sausage and friarielli pizzas and the escarole pizza! The walnut bread and croissants are excellent! The pastries and cannoli are exquisite; today I even had breakfast there and the croissant was delicious! 10 out of 10, see you soon!
5
Just one word: SACHER
5
on vacation in Naples, found by chance... fantastic! gluten-free pastry shop in abundance, they have a counter exclusively for gluten-free with many types of pastries and very good treats, they also have bread (which I didn't try). maximum safety.
5
Highly recommended! They have typical Neapolitan sweets in gluten-free versions but also croissants for breakfast, cakes, etc. The quality is top-notch, and they also offer various vegan options (as well as many lactose-free ones). There’s also a small savory section where I found fried pizza along with several other options (thick pizza, erbazzone, parigina...)! Both sections deserve 5 stars.
5
Apotheosis for us celiacs. Amazing zeppoles and brioches.
5
Excellent pastry shop, gluten-free coffee shop. Very well stocked. Even baked goods like Neapolitan sandwiches, red pizza, and sausage and friarielli pizza are unforgettable. Prices are truly very low compared to other Italian cities. Adjacent to the museum metro stop. The little place is also very nice to see. Gluten-free Babà is a poem.
5
A must-stop for all celiacs traveling in Naples. The babà and sfogliatella gluten-free were delicious. The environment is nice, but the service could be improved. Anyway, I would go back if I'm in Naples.
3
Gluten-free packaged products. Available are taralli, cookies, and other specialties. Many are also lactose-free.
5
Break the return journey from Calabria to Umbria to taste the magnificent gluten-free products from Leopoldo. Return home happy, too bad about the cups; I will wait for them to be available on the website to purchase them.
1
This winter I stayed near Naples for 10 days and I wasn't able to try the sweets and savory items from Leopoldo, but luckily Eataly exists because I was in Milan and managed to get the gluten-free tarallo. It was really delicious!
3
Wide selection of gluten-free desserts, including cakes. The rocher cake was good even though the mixed crunchy-soft-flaky texture was not completely balanced. A bit small place but located in a strategic point. Unfriendly staff.
5
Excellent pastry shop, I thought I would have to forget many flavors after discovering my gluten intolerance, instead... a spectacular display, but above all I ate the babà, the sfogliatella, and the graffa. Let's not even talk about the rest.... The staff were very friendly, and the quality-price ratio was good, noting that we are talking about gluten-free.
5
entirely gluten-free bakery: from small pastries, to cakes, to taralli, bread and more. my absolute favorite place
4
delicious sweets, the staff are really skilled!
1
terrible service, everything is very expensive. nice to see the counter with a lot of choice but nothing memorable. a lot of show and little love
5
the paradise made of pastry!
5
Sweet and savory treats are really delicious! There’s indeed a lot of variety; I didn't try the bread, but it looked good too!
4
Leopoldo is always reliable, a wide selection, excellent products, and especially great coffee with the crema! Prices are a bit high due to the strategic location for tourists. The only thing I don't understand is why to have practically two non-communicating locations, but one close to the other, one gluten-free and one with gluten, and moreover, the gluten-free one is much better stocked and more spacious than the gluten one.
5
If you want to try typical Neapolitan products... from Babà to sfogliatina, pastiera... so much more gluten-free... go to Leopoldo Café... if you want, there are many other shops for all needs...
5
Recommended. Trust the good reviews. Great choice. Honest prices. We went to Leopoldo every day. It gives celiac people the chance to taste typical Neapolitan sweet and savory dishes. The gluten-free paradise.
5
I would give 10 stars if I could!! An amazing place, EVERYTHING is gluten-free, you can find all the traditional sweets, as well as bread and pizza slices. Delicious shortcrust pastry! The prices??? I could hardly believe it, a pastry + a baked zeppole for 3 EUROS!!! A dream!!!
5
There should be a gluten-free Leopoldo in every city in Italy (and I wish you that!). I have never eaten such good and well-made gluten-free desserts! Babà, sfogliatelle, pastiera, sacher, are names that those who are celiac have forgotten until they enter this gluten-free paradise! Savory, sweet, and packaged to take away with a truly unique and varied offering. Prices are well within the norm, and the staff is really number one for courtesy, availability, and cheerfulness (a shout-out to Bruno and Gabriele). It's truly a nice place to enjoy a break at any time of day, from breakfast to spritz! BRAVO!
5
This year too, my daughter, who is celiac, wouldn't have eaten the pastiera at Easter! However, luck had it that one day, by chance, while searching online for a pastry shop that could ship gluten-free sweets, I found Leopodo Cafebar... and where better than Naples to get a well-made Pastiera? I wasn't wrong😉 From the photos, everything looked wonderful and to be honest, when the pastiera, baba`, and caprese arrived at our home, we live in Abruzzo, we were speechless! Everything was delicious, shipped with care and attention, my daughter had her first baba` at the age of 18🙈 Thank you.
5
Nice discovery!
4
Great pastry shop that offers many good gluten-free desserts, including nougat and cakes. I’m glad the owner chose to cater to gluten-free customers; it’s still difficult for us parents to meet our celiac children's needs due to the lack of establishments like this. I hope other businesses take inspiration from this. I recommend it for the quality of the sweets, even though it is mid-high range for prices and liquors.
5
My boyfriend, who is not celiac, in ecstasy over the lemon delight. I am also in ecstasy over the babà... I love it!
2
Fifth time I go to this gluten-free pastry shop... the sweets lack quality, there are better ones... tasteless... Perpetual chaos between the bar and the pastry shop... The cashier talks on the phone while serving me and reprimands the waitress in a harsh tone... In the bar section, I ask to heat up the Parigina, which is a slice of pizza, and she gives it to me colder than before... You need to work on service and quality... I definitely won’t be coming back!
5
Wonderful!... A splendid Neapolitan pastry shop entirely gluten-free!... Gluten free to go crazy!.. =^.^= The main pastry shop is located in Piazza Cavour and there is a branch in Via Benedetto Croce... Of course, we did the tour and stopped at both.
2
At Piazza Cavour, in front of the Archaeological Museum. Decent service (they bring you another pasta if the one you ask for is missing, putting a bit of pressure on you), acceptable taste of the pastas at fair prices. However, the price of the fruit juices (20 cl, €3.50) is unacceptable.
5
Excellent! I would give it a 6 if I could. So many dizzying sweets and also bars with savory items. This is one of the two venues that stand alongside each other, which is entirely dedicated to gluten-free, as the name suggests. Nothing short of fantastic!
5
The perfect breakfast for someone with celiac disease! A wide selection of gluten-free products is available, with an entire counter of typical items! There is another counter with gluten products! Perfect service, courteous... excellent value for money
3
I visited this place yesterday to try gluten-free focaccia. Margherita and with escarole. Unfortunately, the dough was too thick, making it unpleasant to eat. In the end, after four bites, one feels full. The focaccia with escarole is like a toast, two thick slices with the vegetable inside. You only eat bread. The desserts were nothing special. The service was very quick.

I am a regular customer of Leopoldo. We are 4 sisters with celiac disease and I can say we are usually satisfied with the products. I'm writing this negative review to report an incident. On San Giuseppe, we bought fried zeppole and 3 out of 4 were inedible because, besides not having risen, they were raw, really raw, with a spreadable dough! This morning my husband went as usual to get bread, taralli, and pastries and mentioned the incident to the two cashiers, showing them some photos. One of them told my husband she would give him a zeppola, but the other, when her colleague left, told him we should have brought the offending zeppole to them and only then could we get a "replacement." Well, what to say? Really strange return policy! This isn't a defective sweater! But from now on, I will keep this in mind! And I wanted to communicate it to the entire gluten-free community. In the meantime, I wanted to tell the cashier, beyond the wasted money, without zeppola at S. Giuseppe, we were left with nothing!!! And gifting a zeppola to a loyal customer could have been acceptable without the proof of the crime. It would have taken so little to ease a customer's bad mood and instead, no! In addition to the damage, the mockery!!! I would almost want to claim damages for a ruined party!!! Just kidding. But remember, keep the corpse!!!
5
wonderful place, EVERYTHING gluten-free of exceptional quality. very honest prices!!

I enter this lovely, elegant bar at 07:35; it looks like a jewelry shop. I take a croissant with cream and cherry, take a bite, but it’s ice-cold. I tell the bartender, and he says they were warm until half an hour ago and he will reheat it in the microwave. I think it's a shame to eat a gluten-free croissant in the microwave in the early morning and pay one euro and fifty cents.

The paradise for celiacs (and non-celiacs). In this establishment, NO GLUTEN PRODUCTS ARE SOLD, but it is also a delight for the palate for non-celiacs. High-quality pastries and savory snacks along with excellent coffee. The place is clean and very well furnished, sometimes a bit small due to the large number of people who visit at all hours. Prices are absolutely reasonable, considering that all products are gluten-free, made with high-quality ingredients, and the location is in a very central area (across from the museum). Many products even cost the same as those with gluten in a good pastry shop. The staff is always kind and cheerful. Well done, we hope that more similar outlets open in other areas of the city.

You are shameful. Today I take 4 cassatine, I read the price 3.50 each, I go to the cash register and they ask me 18.50. I ask for explanations, and they answer me that they are weighed by the kg and the price of 3.50 is per piece... What kind of reasoning is that? I will not buy anything from you again, you are ridiculous and not serious.

Honestly, I expected much more. As soon as you enter, you think you've arrived in the celiac paradise. A lot of choice of products but very little transparency from the staff. My husband and I ordered a hazelnut cookie and a sacher. The girl at the counter invited us to sit at a table but did not specify that there would be an extra charge. The place is tiny; it was a struggle for us to sit down. My husband ordered a coffee, but it didn’t arrive. So I got up and kindly reminded them. Given the wait, I decided to get one too; I had already finished the cookie, which was too sweet and quite cloying. I went to pay, and they made me wait because they had to check what we had consumed. While further waiting, I decided to buy a bag of taralli. The moral of the story: €17!!! I am stunned; I ask for explanations, and they tell me the coffee at the table costs €2! In response to my point that no one had warned us, the guy at the cash register apologizes. I leave feeling like I spent too much (€5 for taralli, €4 for 2 coffees... sacher €2 and cookie €2, or at least that’s what it said...) instead... I check the receipt and find that they charged me €4 for them. If this is the treatment reserved for tourists... what can I say... really unprofessional. I certainly won't return when I come back to Naples and won't recommend it to anyone. Really unfair.

Surprised and excited to discover a place completely designed for people with celiac disease. Pastry shop, café, bakery, and ice cream parlor with very good products. The place is cozy and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and attentive to the requests of the customers, even when they may seem a bit extravagant, like the cream-filled croissant I asked for :) Thanks to Ivan for the advice he gave us for visiting Naples and its surroundings. A must-try, even for non-celiacs.

I saw this gluten-free pastry bar outside the Archaeological Museum, it has a nice location and well-presented pastries. As a celiac, it’s not easy to find places like this! However, the waitress huffed at my request to eat 2 pastries while standing, making me feel inappropriate. The pastries were tasteless and rubbery (one shortcrust and one lemon delight) and also very expensive. I definitely won’t be back.

The paradise for celiacs! I finally got to taste a delicious babà. According to my husband, it's as good as the regular ones, so he took the opportunity too. The only downside is that the place is small and divided between the bar and the pastry shop, so if you want to stay at the bar but also order pastries and savory food to take away, it gets a bit confusing. The staff is very nice and the location is strategic: just steps from the center and right in front of the metro station.

Simply sensational. Many gluten-free products in a very pleasant venue. I tried an unforgettable babà. Prices are overall affordable. If you visit Naples, you must go there. Fantastic.

Nice and welcoming place. Really beautiful visual impact regarding the desserts... the babbà was very good, but the rest of the sweets (especially the sfogliatella riccia) did not meet expectations. The riccia was not crunchy and neither was the shell of the cannolo, which was rather soggy. The bread was good.

A small place rich in goodness! Excellent typical sweets. They also produce savory items: bread, pizzas, focaccias, and typical tarallucci that can only be defined as sublime! Of course, everything is gluten-free... and it is greatly appreciated even by those who are not celiac. Ivan, a typical kind and proactive Neapolitan scugnizzo, literally pampered us.

The paradise for gluten intolerant people. All traditional Neapolitan desserts and others gluten-free. Vast selection, excellent taste. The venue itself is very well-kept and the staff is very friendly. Prices are obviously a bit higher than average, but that's always the case for gluten-free options. Top-quality ingredients and first-rate quality. Highly recommended!!!
