I should start by saying that I have always eaten well at the friends' den, so my review will not aim to criticize the kitchen, but rather the service during the reservation process, which is certainly not up to par for such a restaurant. I called on Thursday to reserve a table for a dinner with 11 friends (+ a high chair) scheduled for two days later (Saturday). We have been several times and have always been quite satisfied, especially since they are AIC certified, so the two celiac girls in the group can eat without problems. However, the girl who answered the phone told me that on weekends they do not accept reservations for more than 10 people. When I asked why this new rule was introduced, trying to understand the difference between 10 and 11 people, the girl remained firm in her position without listening to reason. I find this rule really silly, and it’s a shame because we were regulars at the restaurant. From now on, we certainly will not be anymore.

We had lunch here with a fixed menu for a family birthday. The food was all delicious. We enjoyed the appetizer, especially the bruschetta, as well as the double portion of first courses (my favorite were the gnocchi) and the grilled meats, of which I loved the lamb. The staff was kind and professional, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommended! Especially if you are celiac, as they have certification and the food they offer is the same but gluten-free!

Very welcoming, spacious, and above all warm! It's very comfortable in short sleeves. Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Really good pizza, even the gluten-free one. The pasta dishes are also good!
