We ended up at the Ulivo Mare restaurant purely by chance, since a gluten-free pizzeria in Alba Adriatica had turned us away for a takeout pizza. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I asked if it was possible to get a gluten-free diavola pizza to take away. The person understandably looked taken aback, as they were busy with diners and didn't have time to prepare one for takeout. Instead of sending me away like the other place, they asked if I could wait, assuring me that they would have it ready in half an hour. To my response of 'no problem, of course', the person had me wait and after about 15 minutes, they asked which pizza I wanted. Within 5 minutes, the pizza was ready, allowing me to bring it to my wife who is celiac. A heartfelt thank you to the staff who understood the necessity and didn’t send us away, despite the many people. It means a lot humanly. As for the pizza, which should not take a back seat to the human factor, it was good, light, and there was no noticeable difference compared to a ‘normal’ one. It is a Roman-style pizza and not Neapolitan. Besides the pizza, they offer all deep-fried foods in gluten-free mode. Definitely worth trying!!

Completely gluten-free menu. Pizzas and bread both with and without gluten. Everything is very good and the staff is very kind and attentive. There are no first courses on the menu.

We came to this restaurant, convinced by the positive reviews, good fried food but cardboard pizza. Furthermore, a few days later we ordered a portion of olive ascolane to take away for my daughter’s birthday and they said no to us, frankly it doesn’t seem like a good move towards customers.

We went to dinner at this restaurant last night, starting with the courtesy and kindness of the staff, then the good location of the place which, even though not visible, is very nice. The gluten-free pizza is good; I would describe it as quite unique since it is very thin and dry, it has nothing to do with Neapolitan pizza, but my son liked it; the toppings are really good. We also tried the French fries and the olive ascolana, all strictly gluten-free. I must say it was a lovely evening. Congratulations!

For the first time, I was able to eat fried foods I had never tried before! The kitchen is entirely gluten-free, only the pizzas are made both with gluten and without. For everything else: appetizers, fried foods, first courses (among which are fresh homemade pasta!) and desserts are completely gluten-free! Delicious!

With and without gluten in maximum safety! The owners, very kind and friendly, are well aware of the issues related to celiac disease and have equipped themselves wonderfully to allow anyone (celiac and non-celiac) to enjoy the same excellent dishes without any problem. A very lovely place!
