We enjoyed a 3 nights stay before the New Year at this centrally located hotel. The three rooms were a little dated, therefore 4 stars but were comfortable and clean and we didn't have any complaints. The beds were very comfortable and we heated the room when needed using the air con as it was cold at times. My daughter was given a disabled access room so had a spacious room and large wet room whereas the other two had showers over baths and a bidet. We were placed on the same floor, which was appreciated. We had an issue with the internal door window suddenly popping out when we closed the door and maintenance arrived quickly to fix it. Iron available from reception for use in the room. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna on two occasions but this might not be possible in busier months as the area is small. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. A special mention to the breakfast manager (Joaquin? Apologies if the name is wrong) who was always welcoming to everyone who entered, courteous and noticed every little detail at breakfast to make it a pleasurable start to the day. He and the staff work discreetly and hard. The breakfast options were fine for us with soya and lactose free milk for those of us with dairy intolerance so I was able to enjoy the cereals and granola. I'm also allergic to egg and there were 3 egg options I could not eat but I had enough options for the 3 nights. I would likely get bored if we stayed for longer but there is a great cafe and bakery across the road too. Easy to walk to the beach, Pompidou Centre, the Cathedral and town with great bars and restaurants. The hotel location is what attracted us to it. We would stay again if in Malaga!
