Highly recommended restaurant. We traveled from Sanlúcar de Barrameda to Elvas and decided to stop here for lunch, and it was a great choice. Homemade food, plentiful and of excellent quality. It stands out especially for being a fantastic place for celiacs, with a wide variety of gluten-free dishes prepared in a homemade way and with complete safety, without cross-contamination. The croquettes are amazing, some of the best we've ever tasted, and the sirloin steak with roasted garlic is spectacular. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff is very professional, friendly, and attentive, even asking about intolerances when taking orders. Quick and kind service. Definitely worth returning to.

Servicio de reservas terrible. Reservamos hace un mes para un grupo de 12 amigos, algunos de los cuales son intolerantes al gluten, por eso elegimos ese lugar. Llegamos y no había reservación. Les mostramos la conversación y se disculparon, pero nos quedamos sin nuestra comida. Es una época del año muy ocupada y no hay espacio en ninguna parte... la única solución fue que fuéramos a un restaurante y comiéramos a las 6 p.m. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was looking forward to visiting La Marmita. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place to eat. The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful. When she took our order, she asked us about any food intolerances. The croquettes were a 10/10 and the sirloin steak with roasted garlic was spectacular. They have unfiltered El Águila draft beer, which is fantastic. When we finished eating, the owner kindly offered us a complimentary liqueur. We will definitely return. Excellent service. Thank you.

A spectacular place for celiacs! I'm from Mallorca, my father is from Extremadura, and I've been celiac for 18 years. I've never tasted croquettes as delicious as the homemade ones at this restaurant! A 20 out of 20! Very friendly and welcoming people, thank you for making me feel at home, we'll be back! One of my favorite restaurants in all of Spain for celiacs! Thank you for making me feel like a normal person!
