I went here because they had allergies listed on the menus and I have celiac disease so I can’t have gluten. I was happy to find a place that had it listed on the menu, but the staff doesn’t know how to handle it still. I ordered a steak that was supposed to come with fries and salad, it was listed as gluten free. I also mentioned three times that it had to be gluten free. The salad came with croutons. My mom and I were also supposed to have fries, listed on the menu as gluten free. The fries didn’t come, which was bad service from the kitchen. In the end we were happy the fries didn’t come, because when the staff was informed we were served incorrectly, she wanted to get us the fries, but when asked if they were fried in the same oil as snacks, she said yes. They clearly didn’t have knowledge on cross contamination. It was a shame, cause it gave me a bad feeling that I might be sick. After receiving a reaction: We were NOT served by a student. She was an adult woman in her forty's. Still, the kitchen made the mistake of not serving us with fries AND serving me croutons while I specifically said GLUTEN FREE! I think your reaction is tasteless and hurts the wrong people. We were also served by a younger guy and girl who spoke english (who could be students) and they were perfect.
