Bill’s at The Trafford Centre is located on the upper level of The Trafford Centre, as you enter the "New Orleans" area of The Orient, opposite Wetherspoons. I’ve visited this particular location a couple of times now, and I’ve noticed the service to be really inconsistent. Back in early 2024, my server was fantastic and went above and beyond, including making sure I could still access the Brunch menu even though I visited slightly after 5 pm. During the summer of 2025, the service was average; however, on my most recent visit, my server seemed disinterested, simply placing the food down on the table without checking everything was OK, and even walked off when I asked for extra sauces. I found it difficult to grab anyone’s attention, which certainly doesn’t justify the 12.5% service charge added onto the bill. I do think the interior is pretty, especially for a mall location. They have spent time to make sure the restaurant looks good inside, but the seating could be slightly cleaner, though, as I noticed there were still some crumbs from the previous guest. On my most recent visit, I went for the Steak and Eggs, which is one of my favourite dishes at other Bill’s locations, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. Despite ordering my steak medium, it was slightly chewy. The fries were lukewarm and tasted like they’d been frozen and certainly not fresh; many of them were soggy due to the steak. My guest ordered the flatbread and mentioned this wasn’t very pleasant and tasted greasy. The gluten-free menu is pretty good, especially for Brunch with a cooked breakfast. steak and eggs, pancakes and other dishes available, I’m not as big a fan of their dinner options, which is pretty much down to my personal taste. They have potential here for sure, but based on my most recent experience, I’m unlikely to return.
