Pizza Express at The Trafford Centre is located on the upper level of the mall, within The Orient. It’s pretty much your average chain Italian, not the best food in the world, but a reasonable option to visit when shopping at the mall. The interior is fresh, modern and comfortable, and there are a good number of tables, although I would recommend booking a table at peak times. I do find it slightly pricey here for a chain, and some of the usual Pizza Express offers, such as Tastecard, are not accepted here but the usual Pizza Express Club Rewards through their loyalty scheme can be redeemed, although I feel this has gotten so much worse recently, with the rewards you can actually get decreasing. I’ve visited here a couple of times now, food is generally just OK. Most recently, I had a gluten-free Pollo Ad Astra pizza with dough balls. The pizza was slightly overcooked around the edges and slightly too oily, causing the toppings to just slide off and the base to be soggy, but the toppings, including the sweet peppers and the Cajun chicken, tasted good. The dough balls were fine, but did need the garlic butter to make them edible, as they were really dry without. For drinks, I went for the Still Strawberry Lemonade, which was super watery. The staff are usually pretty friendly. I had some issues using the app, and the manager had to come over twice to help with this and helped resolve both of these issues to my satisfaction. I would return here again as the food is fine for a mall, and the staff are friendly, and it’s comfortable in the dining area, although it also isn’t somewhere I’d rush or be excited to return to in the future.

First customers of 2026 and a brilliant start to the new year. Immediate table service. A friendly and welcoming service, in particular Komal. One of our best experiences at this restaurant. I had the gluten free doughballs and gf classic fiorentina. Would definitely recommend
