We (a group of 23) visited the pub after a visit to Colesbourne Gardens. We had booked in advanced and sent our food orders ahead. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious and fresh. Nothing was too much to ask for and everything was brought out in good time so that we could all eat together. They catered for Gluten Free which was not skimped on and looked as equally tasty as the “normal” meals. We all thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and warmth of the Inn and that we had our own private area which was most welcome. Thank you again for making the end of our trip an enjoyable one

What a gorgeous place!!!!! Been coming here for food for twenty something years but we recently stayed for the weekend and what a lovely break. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, special shout outs to head of housekeeping Carol who couldn’t do enough for us. And Millie and Jake - super smiley and helpful! Full of energy and advice on the best food and drink! The beds weren’t as comfortable as we hoped so we moved rooms, thanks to Carol for making it happen! The second one was better but beds still creaky. If the rooms lived up to the food and ambience it would be 5 stars. But as we didn’t sleep well, had to take a star off. Best food we’ve had in a long time, fish & chips, burger and bacon chop divine. And what can we say about the gluten free sticky toffee pudding- heaven on a plate! We’ll be back! Thank you for everything. See you soon.
