Since there aren’t a lot of reviews from people allergic to gluten available in Salzburg (that I could find, anyway), I thought I’d leave a review to tell anyone that wants to know: the menu here is very well labeled for gluten-free options. I was above to try gluten-free schnitzel for the first time here, and it was great! The pumpkin seed oil drizzled over my potato salad was unique and amazing. My dad raved about the boiled beef (the broth was so good we drank the bowl dry), and he also really enjoyed the roasted potato (bratkartoffeln) side that it came with. I’m sad we were too full to try the nockerl (also gluten-free, and one of the few places that offers it either in small or large portions). The only note is the spicy shrimp soup my mom ordered was a bit oversalted. Great decor, good service, fantastic food, I would happily go back next time I’m in Salzburg.
