Così delizioso! Ho avuto una salsiccia senza glutine con patatine che era deliziosa. Le porzioni e il rapporto qualità-prezzo sono eccellenti e la donna che mi ha servito era così divertente e amichevole. Mentre ero seduto con il mio pasto, potevo sentirla trattare gli altri clienti con la stessa grande energia. Raccomandato!

My girlfriend and I were on our way to a local festival and chose this establishment after seeing it recommended as a trendy place for fish and chips. The location was great and the shop itself looked quirky and inviting. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. My girlfriend immediately pointed out how dark brown and hard the batter was, and my meal was the same. The aroma wasn’t what you would expect from traditional fish and chips, and while the packaging was pleasant, the fish itself was dry. For £32, we were not pleased, even though we were hungry. I raised this with the manager and politely asked whether the fish had been cooked fresh, as my girlfriend was quite taken aback by its condition. His response was unexpectedly aggressive. He opened the shop window, came outside, and loudly stated that he felt insulted by my question. My girlfriend felt uncomfortable, so we quietly finished the food. I then escorted her to the car and returned to explain to the owner that I felt his manner had been confrontational and not calm. When I asked further questions about the style of cooking and how long the fish had been prepared — as it was very different from a traditional English fish and chip shop — he became even more challenging, although he did mention it was gluten free. While we were eating outside earlier, we could hear him raising his voice in the kitchen, and another member of staff appeared to ask him to calm down. This did nothing to improve the atmosphere and significantly spoiled the experience. Sadly, due to both the quality of the food and the aggressive behaviour of the owner, we will not be returning. My girlfriend felt genuinely fearful in his presence, which is completely unacceptable when simply raising a concern about food quality.

Senza dubbio il miglior halloumi impanato in circolazione (ed è senza glutine!). Il personale è sempre super cordiale e il caloroso benvenuto mi riporta indietro più e più volte. Porzioni decenti 👍
