On my 2nd day in Windsor, I didn't want to go for tea or to the hotel restaurant. So I had this place on my "to check out" food list. I was happy when I saw they delivered. They offer gluten-free options and have dedicated fryers, etc. When I looked at their website, I saw their coeliac information, and it made me smile. It is so rare for places to understand coeliac disease. Their knowledge made me feel safe to eat there. So I ordered 2 gluten-free sausages, 2 portions of gluten-free chips (for my son and hubby), a kid's portion of gluten-free cod and chips (for me, as I have a small stomach), a tub of gluten-free mushy peas for my fish, and a tub of gluten-free gravy for hubby. My son and I were in heaven as we are both coeliac. Hubby can eat whatever, but he eats gluten-free with us for extra safety. I have to say I was impressed with the food; it all came labeled and with little gluten-free stickers on it. I 100% recommend it. One small issue: I requested forks, which didn't turn up, so I had to pop down to the hotel reception to request them. Other than that, it was amazing.

Absolutely delighted with their gluten free menu! It’s difficult to find gluten free takeaways and we were so impressed to be able to order fish and chips and feel confident it is suitable for coeliacs. Well done Scotts. We hope other restaurants follow suit. You’ll be seeing us again soon :)

The best fish and chips in the area. Great food, great service and very knowledgeable about gluten free. People who moan about the price seem to not realise how much the cost of running a business has been accelerating year on year in the last decade. Support your local fish and chips shop who are not only doing their best, they constantly exceed it.
