My fiancé and I visited specifically because we are both gluten intolerant and were genuinely excited about the concept. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Despite arriving without reservations and the restaurant being half empty, we were made to feel like an inconvenience simply for asking where we could sit. That set the tone for what followed. The waiter was noticeably unfriendly throughout dismissive of questions and visibly reluctant to engage. For a place catering to people with dietary needs, where communication and attentiveness genuinely matter, this is a serious issue. Had we not been so curious about the food, it would have been reason enough to leave. On the food itself: it’s fine. Not bad, but nothing memorable. A bigger concern for gluten-intolerant guests if you do not explicitly and repeatedly state that you want everything gluten-free, the staff will not proactively guide you. We had discussed our dietary needs, yet it felt like the information didn’t register. The staff seemed to operate on autopilot rather than actually listening to customers. Then come the practical issues: Cash only. NO CARD payments accepted. No proper receipts: we had to request one, then walk them through what legally needs to appear on it. Whether this complies with local consumer protection laws is worth questioning. There are other local spots in the area offering warmer service and better food. This place has a good concept at its core, but it desperately needs to invest in staff training and basic business practices before it can live up to its potential.

Suzette’s is always a wonderful dining experience. A great experience for gluten free eaters as their menu can be easily changed for celiac diners. Large portions, great ingredients and all prepared very well! I highly recommend Suzette’s, one of my favorite spots in the city.

The creperie offers gluten-free buckwheat savory galettes, which are in themselves safe for those who cannot eat gluten. However, the sweet crepes are made with flours containing gluten, on the same griddle!!! Of course, you can order sweet crepes without gluten, but just like the savory ones, they are made on the same griddle that was contaminated with gluten shortly before. The menu features the words “Glutenfrei”, even accompanied by a crossed out ear of wheat. Yet this symbol is an international recognition to identify a totally safe product (therefore free of traces of gluten…). Perfect place for intolerant people, but not for celiacs. It should be specified…. (In answer to what the owners wrote, I appreciate the attention you have given to my report. However, I would like to point out that the denaturation of gluten due to heat does not make it harmless for celiacs, neither over 170° C. Gluten proteins, even if altered, can still trigger an autoimmune reaction, so if the surface isn't completely clean, it's not safe for people affected by celiac desease).

Delicious pancakes safe for coeliacs. Lovely little place

I went here twice with my sister while she was visiting and we had a great experience both times. There are lots of options for both sweet and savory crepes. The owner was really friendly and helpful regarding the gluten free options. It's definitely safe for celiacs. Will be returning for sure :)

The best gluten free crepe I have had in my life! Best dessert I’ve had in my life even. From Australia and will return to have it. I had the salted butter caramel crepe and tasted like it had fresh ingredients. Made me want to lick the plate clean. You need to come here especially if you’re gluten free!

The best gluten free creperie in Dublin. Amazing service and delicious crepes!

Merci beaucoup!

Great restaurant offering delicious gluten-free galettes and (gluten-containing) crêpes. I have celiac disease and always feel great after eating at Suzette. Staff is very friendly too.
5

Creperia fantastica a Prenzlauer Berg! Piccolo locale. Solo cibo fatto a mano! Delizioso

We just visited here today and it was so gorgeous. The special galette was amazing and I can't wait to go back there again before our holiday is over. My partner is gluten free and he is so happy we have found somewhere where he can eat almost everything and it's all so tasty. Lovely owners too who made us feel very welcome 🙏 Love the Asterix and Obelix menu too.

Fav creperie in town! Love both savory and sweet. I believe they are all gluten free

5
Cibo senza glutine davvero buono! Lo raccomanderei sicuramente.
5
Davvero delizioso.

I can’t believe how I lucked out with this place just around the corner from our apartment, especially after I was diagnosed with celiac disease 3 1/2 years ago. Who knew that buckwheat galettes were even tastier and crispier than traditional crepes? They do offer both, so gluten cross-contamination is a possibility if that’s a concern, but I’ve been eating here 1-2 times/month for the last few years and only once did I think I might’ve had a reaction. The lunch specials can’t be beat, the French cidre is delicious and the galette specials are often some of the best (my all-time fave was one with calvados-soaked apples and bacon!). Damien and Olivier are the nicest people and everyone we bring here becomes a fan.

Unfortunately, this place is useless for seriously gluten-free people. The owners draw attention to their use of buckwheat but neither the ingredients nor the production are safe from contamination with gluten. And more worryingly still, the owners don't seem to care about celiac customers or their needs. They also use the gluten-free symbol without a licence... If you really want to eat gluten-free, don't come here!
