I have been wanting to try this restaurant for the past 5 years of living here and I'm glad I did. I had a reservation for 4 people but we still waited to be sat for 30-45 minutes (!!). We were even waiting with some other people who also had reservations but couldn't go to their tables at the desired time, which was extremely annoying for everyone. When we finally sat down, we got our drinks which were decent and the service was friendly but forgetful. We sat in the ground floor and we had two servers around us but they kept forgetting our drinks, food, and what else we had ordered. I ordered a glass of water but that never came, for example, and my boyfriend had ordered a tequila tasting which also was never registered and had to remind the staff about it. Food: With the food, it was good, it wasn't anything out of this world. It lacked some flavor and even some spice. Due to lactose intolerance, I ordered the solo combo quesadillas dish with lactose free cheese but I got some chicken and a toasted tortilla on top... no sign of any lactose free cheese or cream. The portions compared to the price were unfair, with little rice and a random tomato and lettuce mixed into the dish, it lacked soul. However, the chicken was tasty, but that's the only detail in the whole dish that stood out to me. Overall, I had good expectations and unfortunately they were not met. I would love to give it another shot but I might just head there for snacks and drinks.
