After spending an amazing amount of time in Alta—mostly confined to a beautiful hotel (I’ll write a separate review!)—we arrived in Oslo with a huge craving for pasta. We found Rugantino, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. Stepping in from –12°C (surprisingly warm for the season!) into a place full of warm-hearted Italian charm instantly made us forget the chill outside. This is a feel-good, taste-good pasta place, and they also serve the best gluten-free pasta I’ve ever tasted. We ordered four different pasta dishes, and every single one met—and honestly exceeded—our expectations. Simple, honest, authentic Italian pasta done right. Go for it. 🍝🇮🇹
