I had never been to Pizza Express before, but after this experience—and thanks entirely to Chris—I will absolutely be singing its praises. It was Christmas Eve, and my family and friends had unfortunately forgotten to make a reservation. After being turned away from several restaurants, we arrived as a group of four adults and three young children—not exactly an easy party to seat at the last minute. Chris greeted us with such genuine warmth and kindness that we immediately felt welcome, despite how busy it was. I have several food intolerances, and Chris went above and beyond to make sure I was fully taken care of. At one point, I almost ordered something containing milk, and he thoughtfully stepped in to point out safer options I could enjoy instead. That level of attentiveness made a huge difference. When one of our meals was accidentally missed, he handled it promptly and professionally, ensuring it was brought out right away and kindly comping the dish without hesitation. Throughout the entire visit, Chris handled every situation with grace, care, and generosity. Even during such an incredibly busy and stressful time, he made sure our group could sit, relax, and genuinely enjoy a meal together. His service turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a memorable and joyful one. Chris is an absolute asset—please give this man a raise!
