We had a great time, the waiter was very nice and friendly, typical and excellent food... excellent service and also the wine! Especially everything served gluten-free, suitable for those like me who are celiac.. definitely a great choice!

It was the first food stop in Budapest. My 10-year-old son, who is celiac, was very happy to be able to eat and share dishes with everyone. The stews were very good, a bit spicy. The schnitzel with plum and the mashed potatoes were excellent. We entered with a bubble tea and the waitress asked us to remove it to avoid contamination 😅

The place is not far from the Basilica of Santo Stefano. Every dish is gluten-free. My husband and I ordered a beef goulash and a chicken paprikash dish, both with a combination of homemade gnocchi. Really good! Recommended!

We had dinner tonight in this restaurant and we were really happy. The food was all very good and tasty, prices were average. It’s worth going there. Thank you Matteo and Sofia, you were really very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are Italians like me looking for good food.

Typical Gluten Free dishes are thankfully appreciated by my boyfriend. More than at other restaurants. ABSOLUTELY GO. Wide selection and the waitstaff is super sweet and helpful ❤️

Great gluten-free experience! The restaurant only has gluten-free food, which prevents the risk of contamination. The staff is friendly; a waitress served us with dedication and interest. Excellent choice for eating typical food in a warm and family-friendly environment. I recommend making a reservation as it is often full.

A warm and comfortable atmosphere, we also had a table by the window from which we admired the snow beginning to fall halfway through the evening... top! Reservation (almost) mandatory, so you don’t risk ending up like us who were turned away the night before. Fast and dynamic service, without many frills, flavorful and tasty dishes, nothing to complain about, despite the common belief that 'gluten-free has no flavor'. Here, that's not true. However, the bill was a bit steep, around €70 for a bottle of water, 2 first courses, and 2 desserts. Well, in Italy we would say it’s almost economical, but the reality is they are getting us used to paying for even the air... Nonetheless, we were very satisfied and recommended!!!

Everything was delicious, both the goulash and the chicken paprika. We asked to have the dishes divided, and the service was excellent!! We will definitely return before going back to Italy. Perfect for those who are gluten and lactose intolerant ☺️

We liked it so much that out of 3 nights we ate there 2 times, typical atmosphere, abundant and exquisite dishes!!! Matt and David are really friendly, kind, and nice! Vast choice without gluten, I had my first cordon bleu!!! Delicious, if we return to Budapest it will be the first restaurant we go to.

Very kind, welcoming, quick, and clean. The waiter told us to look here for photos of the dishes on maps, to show him the ones we liked, and he would bring them to us. He immediately understood our difficulties with English haha. Everything was very good; the two of us spent €46 for the 2 dishes in the photos, water, a small beer, and a mushroom soup.

Super good, especially for me being celiac, top service, I went twice during my stay and I must say it remains one of the best and most well-stocked places for gluten-free. The only downside is that I wanted to order dessert but I was denied because the chef had left, it was around 10 PM.

Welcoming, characteristic environment. Maté, who served us, was super kind, generous with advice, and smiling. Exquisite food and everything strictly gluten-free. Highly recommended.

I was with my partner in Budapest for 4 days and 3 nights. Since my partner is celiac, we decided right from the first evening at dinner that we would also have dinner there the other nights, as it is a gluten-free restaurant with truly good food. The service was excellent, and the waiters were very kind and professional. I must compliment the entire staff, including the owner, who was also very kind, and the kitchen for the exceptional food. I recommend it to anyone who is celiac and even to those who are not.

We had the pleasure of dining at this traditional Hungarian restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! The gluten-free cuisine is simply perfect, with dishes crafted with great attention to detail, highlighting the authentic flavors of Hungarian tradition. Every course was an absolute delight for the palate. The staff stood out for their courtesy and professionalism: we felt warmly welcomed and cared for, making the evening even more enjoyable. Their passion and commitment to quality are evident in every aspect of the service and the food. This is a place we highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy delicious gluten-free dishes in a cozy and authentic environment. Kudos to the entire team! Rachel and Saverio

A gluten-free gem of Hungarian cuisine in the heart of the city! We returned twice because, in addition to being very courteous, the dishes are truly exceptional! Highly recommended!

Fortunately, we discovered this restaurant almost by chance under the house where we stayed. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The menu was very varied. We had some excellent traditional dishes, all strictly gluten-free. Everything was so good that we returned multiple times during our stay to try all the dishes on the menu.

Tourist locale, but personally I had a fairly positive experience. We ate late in the afternoon, after wandering all day, and we were satisfied. Good food, although a bit commercial, very kind waiters. And above all, everything was gluten-free. The only downside: we smelled like fried food all day...

Extraordinary dinner! Traditional Hungarian dishes exclusively gluten-free, but above all substantial and decidedly delicious. Finally, a restaurant where you can experience the entire menu without having to give up anything. Celiac disease at Bohemtanya is not a problem, but an opportunity to eat quality and quantity food with peace of mind. The venue (located in the Pest area) is easily accessible both on foot and by public transport. P.S. The menu is available on their website, also in English.

Nice place. Good food, gluten-free dishes. The online reservation system doesn't work well, no confirmation. Average price.

Very welcoming place Helpful staff Honest prices Amazing food (the dish with the cutlets for two people with scamorza and mushrooms was out of this world) And delicious gluten-free beer. I RECOMMEND IT

Simply a paradise for gluten-free individuals and others... in Hungary!!! Everything is delicious, with many local products to taste Hungarian cuisine without contamination. The entire menu is 100% gluten-free. Friendly staff... fair prices and obviously cheaper than in Italy... we went twice in 4 days... always excellent!! Highly recommended...

Finally, a place to eat peacefully for those who are celiac. The staff is friendly and very welcoming, making you feel comfortable even in a foreign country. The dishes are very good and delicious. The desserts are truly fantastic. I would have given praise if it were possible. Compliments to all the staff.

We had dinner with 10 people, after making a reservation. Clean environment, friendly staff, excellent and plentiful food! The duck was delicious, the meatloaf huge and tender, the goulash soup very flavorful, and the fried cheese with delicate but tasty rice!! Great price, even the final coffee was not bad!!
