During our vacation in Budapest, this place was a lifesaver as well as a magnificent discovery! We went back a second time because we enjoyed it so much! Excellent food, great variety on the menu, and everything gluten-free. One of the best burgers I've ever had, the goulash was excellent too, and the desserts. There are two restaurants called "Kata", one in Buda and one in Pest. My husband and I went to the one in Buda, which has recently opened. The place is welcoming and very chic. The waitstaff is very kind and helpful. All dishes are gluten-free, including sandwiches and desserts. Highly recommended!

We arrived at this restaurant because I am celiac and couldn't eat anywhere due to contamination, so I looked on Google and made a reservation. As soon as we entered, the girl understood we were Italians and spoke to us in Italian, and it already felt like a dream. She seated us and gave us recommendations. We ordered the goulash... what can I say, it was amazing with toasted bread sprinkled with seeds... delicious. For the second course, I had crispy chicken with mashed potatoes, but not the instant kind... exceptional... dry and crunchy breading... delicious mashed potatoes. My companion had a beef ribeye that was super tender and mashed potatoes with truffles. Excellent service, quick and friendly... beautiful, welcoming, and super clean venue, and the waitress who served us was fantastic. I highly recommend it even if you are not celiac.

The best Gluten-Free restaurant we found in Budapest. The entire menu is gluten-free, the location is simple but extremely well-maintained and pleasant. The waitress was kind and precise, which is a rarity in restaurants in Budapest. We had their Goulash soup served with gluten-free baguette and the schnitzel served with a cucumber salad. We liked the schnitzel so much that we ordered another to share after finishing our plates. If you are looking for a gluten-free restaurant in Budapest, this is definitely the right choice. Highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant. We went there for lunch and I tasted the best goulash in Budapest, at least in my opinion. The entire menu is completely gluten-free, a big plus since those who are celiac know how hard it is to find a good place like this. The prices are not particularly cheap, but they are justified by the high quality of the dishes and truly excellent service. The venue is well-kept and welcoming, absolutely recommended.

The goulash was excellent, the duck a bit dry but good and sweet enough. Having the opportunity to eat quality gluten-free and lactose-free food is definitely a plus for them, the service was great, everyone was nice and quite fast. There is a terrace and a spacious well-kept room inside, you can book online but when we arrived it wasn't overcrowded.

If you are looking for gluten-free and lactose-free food, this is the perfect restaurant. The venue is very welcoming, with a subtle atmosphere, spacious and clean. The staff is very kind, as we arrived practically at closing time, but they still allowed us the time to dine calmly. Together with my husband, we ordered a fried chicken cutlet with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad, and a burger sandwich with beef, bacon, cheddar, sauce, tomato, onion, and excellent baked potatoes. Everything was excellent. For dessert, we ordered a chocolate mousse and a cheesecake. Prices are more than affordable. Definitely worth trying.

Excellent gluten-free cuisine, warmed bread that is indistinguishable from normal bread, a wide selection of products, I recommend the gnocchi with meat. Delicious desserts, good selection here as well. Recommended.

We had dinner here with two friends. Upon arrival, the place looks good, very modern in style with sofas and matching chairs. The waitress was very kind. We ordered as appetizers soups (goulash and lentils) that were very good and well-presented, then we also had a small plate of ham (I think), salami, and some sauces, which were also good but perhaps a slightly high price for what we received. For the main course, we had a burger (good, but not exceptional), salmon, which needed a bit more marination to be perfect, and a plate of tagliatelle. We spent about €29 each, prices are certainly not cheap considering we are in Hungary, but for what we ate, it was acceptable.

EXCELLENT WELCOME. THE PLACE IS QUITE WELCOMING AND ABOVE ALL THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY TO EAT OUTSIDE. THE PLACE IS QUITE CLEAN AND FURTHERMORE ALL PRODUCTS ARE EXCLUSIVELY GLUTEN-FREE, GREAT FOR THOSE WITH CELIAC PROBLEMS. THE CUISINE IS VERY GOOD.
