Great place, unique in its kind in La Spezia, inclusive on everything. It allowed me to eat despite celiac disease and lactose intolerance. Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of the products because for a week, enjoying their ice creams and savory dishes was my indulgence that I cherished away from my phone. The owner is really sharp and forward-thinking. A place to visit even just to feel a little spoiled.

I'm about to write a review that might become delirious. First of all, I specify that the products sold, especially the ice cream, are of excellent quality and are objectively good, regardless of the fact that they are lactose and gluten-free. I can eat traditional ice cream without problems, and yet I leave my house to buy this ice cream, ignoring all the ice cream shops I pass on the way. The flavors are rich, the base is of high quality, and it doesn't leave any bitter and/or acidic aftertaste as sometimes happens in other ice cream shops. For example: the coffee flavor tastes like moka coffee in ice cream form, the mango is extraordinary, better than the ripe fruit, and the hazelnut is a notch above all the hazelnut flavors I've ever tasted. Truly excellent quality, the only note is that being lactose-free makes the base a bit sweeter than normal, which means the pistachio is sweet instead of sweet-salty; it's a matter of personal taste, but it's good to keep in mind. So I start with 5/5 (just because you can't give more) for the quality and taste of the food offered. Now the delirium begins. The name of the place is "Emotional food" and I assure you that it is not just a saying. Imagine being the classic Ligurian from the east, as I am. It means being used to not expecting kindness, to enter shops and receive dirty looks. It means asking for a long coffee and receiving a grimace of disgust because any customer who dares to ask for any variation to the "normal" coffee must die a horrible death. The Ligurians from the east (not to be confused with those from the west who are polite) are as inhospitable as the land they inhabit, and this reflects on local businesses... Well, this place is something I've never experienced in my homeland: hospitality, kindness, and, in a sense, affection. I really realize I might need to be interned, but every time I pass by Wow, I leave with a feeling of warmth, feeling like I've received a hug, just, for free. The kindness of the staff is something I've never seen, even outside the riviera, really disarmingly sweet. I bought two kilos of ice cream and instead of being annoyed that I made them work, they smiled at me and gave me a handful of cups and cones so that "the ice cream is better." But seriously?? Crazy, so it almost seems that buying so much is a good thing! I've been there several times now; the first was a mystical experience with a pen as a gift, but I thought it was a one-off for Christmas. However, subsequent visits made me realize that they are always so kind and welcoming. And so I return to get that hug that I maybe don't deserve, but that I gladly accept. Service 999999999/5

The best ice cream we’ve ever had Let me start with the staff, who speaks great English, super friendly and gladly explained everything to us. I am gluten and lactose intolerant and have chocolate, nuts and a bunch of other allergies. This place to me was like heaven. The ice cream so good that it’s hard to describe. Not only to usual lactose free or vegan flavors like Mango or Strawberry, but Coconut, Amarena, Melon, lactose free Vanilla and Yoghurt, Fiore Di Latte, Lemon cream, and I could carry on with the list. Best gluten free cones that I ever tasted too!! and the prices are more than fair… I had a Coconut-Amarena-Melon cup but had to go back to get a double scoop Lemon cream because it was simply the best ice cream I have ever had in my entire life. And not just in my opinion. My fiancé who doesn’t have any allergies said the exact same thing. I just don’t know how other places cannot understand just because you are allergic or intolerant you would still like to eat amazing food! Thank you for the sweetest most delicious experience we had during our 2-week-stay in Italy! We will be back for more! ❤️🍨 Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An elegant place located in the historic center. Absolutely delicious gluten-free ice creams. I tried an almond granita that, as a Sicilian, doesn't have anything to envy from the granitas made in Sicily. The secret is the use of excellent materials and the love put into making it. I invite you to try the gluten-free almond cannoli..... exquisite.

A very special ice cream shop. They offer not only ice creams but also cannoli, granitas, and vegan cakes. The products, as far as I understand, are all gluten-free, egg-free, and lactose-free. Additionally, the philosophy is to be plastic-free, so for example, the spoon and the cup are made of wafer. The quality of the product seemed excellent to me.

The satisfaction of seeing our children so happy to finally order what they wanted is beautiful. They are intolerant to lactose and gluten. Very good ice cream. Edible cups and spoons.
