Very good food, with a freshness that is clearly perceived in every dish. The establishment is registered with the AIC circuit, an important guarantee for those who need to follow a gluten-free diet. The only less favorable aspect is the surcharge applied to each course (€3, which increases to €5 for the fried fish, due to the more frequent oil change required by the reduced capacity of the fryer). Rating 4/5 only for the gluten-free prices; if it weren't for that detail, it would have been 5/5.

The entire menu is available gluten-free, with pinsa/focaccia-style pizza made by the chef's dough, very good. The fried fish is excellent. The only drawback is a €5 surcharge for each gluten-free dish, which seems excessive to me.

beautiful and well-kept restaurant, perfect gluten-free options practically throughout the menu, the pizza is more like gourmet-topped pinsa, very good with octopus and salmon bites, etc., local desserts of excellent quality with unique items like prickly pear granita, not cheap but not expensive considering the quality you get

Delicious pizza, made by them with a very good dough, unique and very tasty flavors, the possibility of the entire menu being gluten-free, they are AIC certified, the place is located in a side street just behind the main street of Tropea, the only downside is the surcharge of €5 for gluten-free pizza.

Following your advice, we had dinner at this beautiful restaurant! The baked onion was excellent! Almost the entire menu can be GF!

Almost the entire menu can also be gluten-free, we ate fish and the dishes were abundant and very good, highly curated and of quality, AIC certified.

Great quality of fish. They also offer gluten-free fried food. Many gluten-free options.

I liked it so much that I went there two nights in a row. I tried both the land menu and the fish menu and everything was excellent. Perfect for us celiacs as well. Also, the prices were all average. If I return to the area, I will go again.

Welcoming restaurant with a vast offer. Great also for celiacs who can eat almost everything (though with significant markups on the base prices of the dishes).

Food of excellent quality, fresh ingredients, and excellent seafood spaghetti. It's worth mentioning that I tried to make a reservation by phone and was told there was no availability for three days. However, when I walked by and asked just to be sure, they gave me a table at 7:30 PM. We shared some dishes, which were served separately. There was a lot of attention to the customer, perhaps even too much. I was negatively surprised that in a restaurant certified by AIC, thus dedicated to gluten-free options, there is an extra charge of three euros for each gluten-free dish served, in addition to a cover charge of three euros per person. This was not the case in other restaurants that kindly cooked gluten-free for a celiac person even though they were not AIC certified. Overall, a pleasant dinner.

Our evening was a total disappointment due to nonexistent service and an unacceptable quality-price ratio. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unfriendly and lacking any hospitality. Not a greeting, not a smile, just cold responses that made us feel like unwanted guests. In particular, the guy in the dining room with curly hair, with his arrogant and cocky attitude, really made us lose the desire to order. As for dinner, the gluten-free pizza was a super thin "cookie" that was completely burnt, sold with a 5 euro surcharge. When we asked a girl for explanations, we were told that "the pizza was like that because it was gluten-free" (15+5€ for a gluten-free cookie pizza). In my opinion, even the 3 euro cover charge is completely unjustified: we were not provided with any oil, salt, or pepper, and we had to ask for bread halfway through dinner since it had not been served. Finally, at the time of payment, I brought all this to the attention of the guy with curly hair. His response was that "the gluten-free pizza is liked by all our customers" and that "if we had mentioned it, they would have remade it." I reiterated that we had already reported the problem to the girl, but he concluded by saying that it was now too late. In summary, the total lack of service completely ruined our experience.

Almost discovered by chance, the AIC Restaurant by Nico and Lilly has become one of my favorite places in Tropea. The cuisine is refined and completely gluten-free, with dishes meticulously crafted and flavors that elevate Calabrian tradition with a creative touch. The fish is incredibly fresh, the raw dishes divine, and the gluten-free pinsa simply spectacular. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, attentive to dietary needs and always ready to give the best recommendations. The location is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. A huge thanks to Nico and Lilly for the passion they convey in every dish! A must-visit if you're vacationing in Tropea.

Delicious food and great value ☺️ The staff is kind and the 2 chefs cook amazingly well. The quality of the products are amazing. You should definitely try their “winning price” antipasto with polpo & cippolla rossa 😍 & the semifreddo al pistacchio, it’s an absolute must 🤩 With my gluten issues, they really paid attention with cross-contamination. They have gluten-free options and plates can be adapted. We loved it and enjoyed it. Thanks a lot 👍🏻

Beautiful restaurant, furnished with taste. Very kind waiters, although the service certainly needs improvement. Very good gourmet pizzas. It's worth noting that the restaurant is AIC certified and offers gluten-free pizzas and dishes on the menu. Prices are a bit high. Overall, a more than positive culinary experience.
