I'm sorry because the second courses were probably more than good (the eggplant parmesan for the appetizer was absolutely approved) but unfortunately I've never eaten a worse gluten-free pasta, it was completely undercooked, the sauce was good but there's little to do, I hope I happened on a bad day and that this is not a routine, I can't give more than two stars.

We had dinner in this nice restaurant, good food, good service.

It has many gluten-free dishes, two separate kitchens, and the owner is very attentive to contamination. If you talk to him, he knows a lot about celiac disease. Excellent restaurant and it is also very safe.

great attention to gluten-free dishes, I had an excellent plate of spaghetti with clams and a fantastic caprese cake. recommended for all celiacs

excellent quality and generous portions. We had a parmigiana as a starter, pasta with potatoes and provola, pasta with ragù, spaghetti with clams, all gluten-free and everything was perfect. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable! Absolutely recommended.

Tonino and Priscilla were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent menu suitable for vegans and gluten-free eaters, exquisite food. I had a seasonal vegetable parmesan with vegan béchamel and vegan meatballs (I believe made from lentils) with salad and a delicious vegetable cream! Beautiful and well-maintained place in the heart of Naples' historic center, prices are average for the area. I will return!

I had lunch at this restaurant and I was really satisfied. I should mention that I am celiac and finding gluten-free dishes that taste this good is not easy, but in this place, I was pleasantly surprised. There is the option to choose between the first courses and make them with gluten-free pasta (except for fresh pasta) and also among some main courses. We chose clams pasta and Luciana pasta.

The first time (we happened upon it by chance with friends who were visiting) I feared I had fallen into a tourist trap. In reality, we were all happy with what we ate. I returned again yesterday and the experience was confirmed. The strength of the restaurant is the decent selection of gluten-free and/or vegetarian or vegan food, which can satisfy all diners. Regarding the offering, you can find both some fish dishes and various land dishes, all from the Neapolitan tradition. In our case, there were also two daily specials (one of which was a fried fresh fish). Surely some dishes in the historic center can be found at lower prices, but quality comes at a cost (yesterday two generous manfredi with ricotta, a portion of meatballs, a citrus tiramisu, and two bottles of water cost about 30 per person, not exactly cheap). In my two experiences, the portions were generous and the service was fairly quick (it should be noted that we always went at opening time, with the restaurant still quite empty); they may not have the most elegant waiters in the area, but I am certainly not Alessandro Borghese, and I personally appreciated the kindness and the explanations about the name of the place (always reiterating that we were served when the restaurant was still empty and with staff not under stress). It is possible to sit outside (but it is on a narrow street with pedestrian traffic that can sometimes be significant, which could be bothersome) and inside, where they have a corridor point and a larger room. In case of inability to walk stairs, the outside is the only accessible point. Parking is not available nearby, considering the adjacent ZTL and the layout of the area.

I'm sorry I didn't take any photos; when that happens (rarely), it's because I'm taken by the place I'm in. In the case of Monsù, I would also say by the excellent quality of the food. We had read, passing by chance, about the possibility of tasting dishes that are gluten-free, so we stopped and made the right choice. Gluten-free spaghetti with clams, generous portion and delicious dish. Excellent Genovese sauce, modest quantity. Baby octopus Luciana style (cherry tomatoes, plenty of sauce, capers, and olives): tasty and tender, they reminded me of those cooked by my mother (made in Sicily, with Pantelleria capers). Having said that, I can affirm that we will return to taste the caprese from the talented cook who kindly stopped to chat with us. Very kind, courteous staff, attentive to the needs of our little celiac. Congratulations, keep it up. Highly recommended place for the quality of Neapolitan cuisine.

We discovered this restaurant by chance, my family and I, and once we found it, we returned for three consecutive days! The food is nothing short of exquisite. I highly recommend the pasta with ragù (it felt like eating my grandmother's ragù), with super tender meat that melts in your mouth, and then the fantastic genovese (even though I'm not a fan of onions, this was spectacular). My sister is also celiac, and almost the entire menu (except for just 2 dishes) can be made gluten-free, and you don't even notice the difference! I also tried the delicious bufala mozzarella. The scottona roll (I think it’s only available during the Christmas season) left me speechless. I had the potato gatò, which was also good. In short, everything about the food was great (including all the desserts, especially their special tiramisù). The courtesy of Marco and Marina, the cook, is something you don’t find easily; it feels like chatting with old friends, we felt very comfortable. You spend a fair amount, around 20/25 euros per person, and you eat really well and a lot! The care, attention to food, to people, and to their needs is commendable. We need more people and places like this!
