Celiac warning: Absolutely shocking cross-contamination. I ordered and explicitly told them I have celiac, but then watched the staff toss my gluten-free patty on the exact same grill surface as regular gluten buns and a grilled cheese. When I pointed it out, they claimed it was fine because they toast the GF buns separately. Complete lack of basic food safety training. Incredibly dangerous if you have a medical restriction. Avoid

The burger was good, however my wife was very excited for the chicken fingers, which are gluten free. Being from the UK we had not seen GF fried chicken, however this was the blandest food we have had. Perhaps this is why GF fried chicken is rare. Chips and shakes were very good

Food for celiacs and gluten intolerant people š¤©š«¶š» I bought takeout fried chicken and fries, and despite the February chill, it was enough to carry it in my backpack to eat it in the hotel still warm and crispy. Itās worth going back!

Fantastic quick service option if you have celiac/eat gluten free! While NYC has plenty of sit down restaurants that can accommodate a gluten free diet, finding a fast casual option is a lot harder. I am SO GRATEFUL for Schnipper's. Even better that it is located so close to so many Broadway theaters. It is now my go-to quick service meal option when coming in for a show. The chicken fingers are amazing and they do not taste gluten free at all, it's amazing. The fries and GF chicken fingers are done in a dedicated fryer to reduce the risk of cross contamination.

Fried chicken is all gluten free which is amazing, I had the fried chicken meal with sweet potato fries and blue cheese sauce. So hard to find things like this when being gluten free, the fried chicken was incredible and so crunchy! My partner (not gf) had a hot dog which he said was one of the best hot dogs he has eaten. I like that it is a mix of fast food/dine in with ordering taking place at the counter but food is delivered to your table by staff using electronic buzzers.

It is unacceptable to declare the presence of products that are 100% gluten-free if they are highly contaminated. I was there tonight with a celiac friend, she felt very unwell right after eating gluten-free chicken fingers and fries. We hope not to end up in the hospital or there will be a complaint!

Great gluten free chicken tenders. They also have a variety of quick service food like salad, burgers, grilled chicken (but it didn't taste like fast food) . Usually plenty of places to sit.

It is a good place if you need to eat something quickly and they have variety... in case you are looking for something gluten free they have that option. They don't have many tables so you have to wait for one to become vacant. The service is fast. I thought the salad was a good size. The service is fast and good and they give you some recommendations if you are not sure about your order.

Convenient burger joint with food made from fresh ingredients and local sources. Glad to find a place that has fries not cooked in mixed oil so that means gluten-friendly fries. Helpful staff and good vibe.

We love Schnipperās! It is one of our favorite places for gluten free food in the city. You must get the chicken fingers with chipotle ranch!

We ordered a gluten-free sandwich and a regular sandwich, both with gluten-free cheese fries to take away. When we opened the package, the sandwiches were regular, and the fries had no cheese. The fries were contaminated, and we felt sick; they cannot be considered gluten-free. The girl placed the correct order, but someone in the kitchen made a mistake; we could have ended up in the hospital because of this error. Not recommended.
