Welcoming atmosphere, attentive and helpful staff. The toasts are tasty and the cakes are also good to accompany with a cup of excellent tea. Definitely recommended.

The place is small but very charming. The atmosphere gives a sense of calm and serenity. We passed by this bar at the end of our vacation in Vienna and it immediately won us over. It offers all gluten-free options (perfect for those with celiac disease). It was the only place where we managed to try gluten-free sacher. Everything was very good. The coffees and cakes were served on elegant, royal-looking cups and saucers. The boy who served us was disarmingly kind and calm. We enjoyed everything so much that we bought a cup and spoons to take home as a memory. It was the perfect ending to our vacation!

A very characteristic café both in its environment and details (I loved the coffee in porcelain cups!), the only one offering a completely gluten-free menu. The desserts are incredible; even my non-celiac boyfriend appreciated them and stated that their Sachertorte is even better than other more famous ones! A bit far from the center, but absolutely worth the trip.

I had breakfast in this place for two consecutive days and I had a great time! It’s a small café with a few tables, so it’s better to book via email (you can find it on their website), especially when the weather is bad because it can get full. Everything is gluten-free and it’s a dream for those with celiac disease: I tasted a delicious Sacher cake, but they have many other options too. There is a wide selection of vegan products. The service is outstanding: the waiter welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. I can only recommend it to everyone!

Excellent products, spectacular sacher, you couldn't tell it was gluten-free. The paradise of gluten-free sweets in Vienna, hard to find elsewhere.

Exceptional gluten-free Sacher cake, hard to find one so good in Vienna, congratulations! We also had an excellent apple crumble cake! I recommend it to all celiacs.

We are in Vienna with a celiac child and we couldn’t get her to taste a Sacher... today we arrived here, out of breath, a few minutes after closing time, which we didn’t know was at 4 PM. We were preparing to return downtown without a snack, and instead, the very kind boy saw us in front of the door, opened it, and allowed us to take desserts to go. Both the Sacher and the cheesecake were excellent, and above all, a huge THANK YOU for serving us even outside of business hours. Being celiac while traveling is not always easy, but luckily there are places like Gruener Salon. Highly recommended!!!!

Delicious and characteristic little place where you can enjoy most of the Viennese specialties in a gluten-free and homemade version (from dishes to bread, sauces, and desserts). Very polite staff, fresh and genuine food. I particularly appreciated the Sachertorte, not too sweet and very delicate.

A place with a very welcoming and elegant atmosphere, the food is excellent and the service is perfect. The menu caters to everyone, from those with various intolerances to vegans. The price is not the lowest, but the portions are very generous. For two of us, we spent about €42, ordering: a menu that included a main dish of salad, bread, and eggs, with an avocado cream and a delicate mustard, served with a glass of juice; a large cappuccino served with a glass of water; another main dish with eggs, bacon, bread, and juice, and finally a large slice of cake to take away. I absolutely recommend it!
