A celiac haven! And delicious real Italian food!! Felt so included here (which is not often the experience living with Celiac disease) and it was five stars all around - the staff were friendly and attentive while also making me feel super safe, the food was sooo tasty, from the free plump green olives marinated in oil and with onions and peppers to the 1 pound fluffy crispy bread, then the handmade pasta was *chefs kiss* and finished off with a blueberry prosecco cheesecake with a gluten free crust, and the cozy quaint and eclectically decorated atmosphere was just perfection.

What a wonderful friendly, welcoming, family run Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Also tons of gluten free options which are safe for celiacs, which was great for me. I had the best GF pizza ever!

This Italian is absolutely phenomenal. The food is delicious, the staff are very helpful and importantly, they take allergies seriously. My partner has coeliac disease so we have struggled to find an Italian restaurant that can cater to his gluten allergy. The owner of Cotto has coeliac disease himself so he is fully aware of cross contamination etc. My partner felt so safe eating here and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you 🖤

Great atmosphere; the owner is energetic and loves to talk to customers. Almost the entire menu can be made gluten free, and the gluten free person in my party was happy with their dish. The food was more of a mixed bag. The pizza was good, the crust and dough in particular I found delicious. However, I was disappointed with the pasta. For being homemade, I found the pasta a bit soft and the tomato sauce was also somewhat bland. Overall if you need a gluten free dinner this is a great option otherwise good but not exceptional.

Honestly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. As someone with celiac being welcomed into a place is rare but the owner made sure to personally greet us and even found places for our multiple shopping bags. We ordered bread service, the burrata and bresaola, a gluten free salami pizza, a regular mushroom pizza, and tiramisu. Everything turned out completely amazing, my non-celiac partner enjoyed the gluten free versions of everything also. Will 100% come back when we’re down in London again and could not recommend this place more!!

A pleasant surprise in the heart of London, it has practically saved us more than a few dinners! The gluten-free pizza is excellent and so is the tiramisu, a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and above all, Italian!

What a great restaurant. The best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had! The servers were lovely and friendly. They are great with allergies too as the owner is coeliac so they have a whole separate kitchen to prepare the gluten free food. 100% would recommend (and book a table if you can as it gets busy!)

It should be noted that I mostly write positive reviews, as a tribute to those who make me feel good, but certain unpleasant situations still need to be reported. The venue has tables that are not very nice, more suited for an outdoor bar than an indoor place. The surcharge for gluten-free options is definitely high. Bread, butter, and olives are apparently offered as an "entrée" and then charged on the final bill, in addition to the "service" fee. The owner is friendly but a bit intrusive, the staff is kind, and both traditional and gluten-free pizza is good. Details that leave a bitter taste, it's a shame. I wouldn't be keen to return, I'm sorry.
