I ordered a pizza online on 6 February and needed to change the toppings due to food intolerances. However, the website did not allow any changes. I then phoned the branch and was told that staff were under strict instructions not to alter toppings. I explained that I have been changing toppings at this branch for over 20 years without any problems. I was told this was a new rule introduced five days ago and that it is stated in the terms and conditions. I pointed out that most people do not read T&Cs before ordering a pizza — this isn’t the purchase of a house or a car — and that asking to change toppings is a reasonable request, especially for dietary reasons. I was very disappointed, cancelled my order, and instead ordered from my local kebab shop. Pizza Hut has unfortunately lost a loyal customer.
