Spent a day in Weston and wanted Fish and chips, we went to one chip shop just off the pier but they didn't cater for gluten free, they were really nice and recommended the salt & malt. The whole menu is gluten free and by far the best GF fish and chips ive had. Fish tasty and chips perfect. Curry sauce is different to normal but nice. Garden peas are smashed not mushy, but again tasted nice and fresh. STAFF friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices. Only negative.....no gravy! But honestly a nice place.

We visited at the worst Possible Time! Carnival Night! However the visit was Positive. The Staff were attentive, & explained we would have to wait a few minutes for a table. When seated, we Placed our order. The drinks arrived quickly, then the food after - Considering The restaurant and takeaway had Ques out the door I was surprised how quickly it arrived. So between us We Had Cod, Haddock, Calamari, & the chips & their own take on Mushy Peas. The Chips were great, not soggy with a nice crisp and flavour. All the fish we had was superb, the batter was crispy & light - also Gluten Free which is great. Mine was the Haddock which was fantastic . The Calamari was cooked perfectly in a very light batter with a Lovely Lime & Chilli sauce. Their own take on the Mushy Peas is crushed peas - which we all really enjoyed.I take my hat off to all the Staff on a franticly busy day to provide the service they did, We all cannot wait until we come back here again very soon and this time we will have Puddings!
