On Super Bowl Sunday, the crew at Defloured was working at a blistering pace, as the shop was packed with customers inside, with more lined up for nearly half a block outside the door. I painstakingly requested a complex order that included both plain and flavorful variations of brownies, bites, cookies, and more, which eventually filled several boxes. Multiple clerks provided friendly assistance in a patient and professional manner as we conversationally discussed the menu, eventually settling upon selecting almost every vegan item available within the display case. Everything was phenomenal across the board, as the items were constructed with a playful orderliness, adorned with toppings that were securely structured to the surface, and superbly scrumptious flavor profiles overall. During and after consumption, each item being was seemingly well reviewed by attendees of the party and the individuals who were fortune enough to luckily stumble into leftovers and secondhand transfers at the office or the home kitchen the next day. I asked a regular customer if they could recommend another bakery with vegan options, and they stated "This is the spot." Absolutely worth checking out, if time allows.

OK, I am not gluten-free or dairy free but my roommate is. I picked up a funfetti cake for her along with some other cookie bars and let me tell you— they were INCREDIBLE. Honestly, I would’ve never known the difference, and I am not just saying that. Everyone at the party was blown away. This is one of the best cakes I’ve ever had in the entire city. The service was also great. I showed up kind of in a hurry and they were not only so nice but they also personalized my cake on the spot. I cannot say enough good things, everyone has to try the bakery!

My GF BFF? Defloured in Andersonville. Cupcakes, brownies, pies—they have it all. Delightful service, best selection.

What a treat to find this delicious, dedicated gluten free bakery!! They had such a wide selection of items (mostly sweet, but savory too) that it was hard to decide what to get. We absolutely loved the blueberry cheesecake bar and the oatmeal cream pie. We should have bought more! They also had lots of dairy free and vegan options. And the prices were much lower than I expected for a small, dedicated gluten free bakery. I wish I lived close by!

I've ordered multiple custom birthday cakes and cupcakes from here and there were absolutely delicious. Like, the whole party (kids and adults) falls silent while everyone enjoys a piece of cake kind of delicious. I'm so thankful to be able to order such wonderful and beautiful allergen safe food! I got the cakes delivered and they were on time and well packaged.
