Had a 10 a.m. reservation, but the doors didn’t open until 10:10 because the manager was stuck in the bathroom. When my friend asked about gluten-free options, the manager replied, “We’re a French restaurant,” which set the tone in the worst way. The pain au chocolat was disappointing: more food cart than French café (apparently sourced from a bakery in Brooklyn). That said, the quiche and tartine were excellent, and our waiter Brady was great. After I mentioned the pastry would’ve been much better warmed up, he kindly brought us another one. This place has a strong reputation, but the management needs to catch up to the hype.

I was surprised this place doesn’t have 1000s of good reviews. It is a gem. We loved the minute we walked in with the warmth of the staff and the place. The host (Italian) sorry I forget his name, was so friendly to us and made conversation while we waited for our friend to join. We had a beautiful table in a beautiful room with amazing service and food. They were so great to even provide some nice gluten free options for our friend as one of server said she was also of same preference! Loved their service. The food is super authentic French food and it’s not too too heavy yet full of flavors. We tried their sandwich, egg ouef, avocado toast and the berry pastry which were all amazing and we recommend. The coffee was also delicious and my friend and wife loved the tea.
