This place has amazing gluten free options. The Japanese fried chicken is the best item on the menu, until you get to all the amazing rolls. ALL Gluten Free. The fried shrimp roll was a treat considering anything fried is usually off limits for us celiec peeps. Grab a reservation ahead of time.

Not worth the money. Spent $90 on lunch for 2 people for “gluten free” sushi which is already primarily gluten free. I got takeout, we each got the starter set and the cucumber salad appetizer to share. The plastic on the nori was very difficult to remove. The food was delicious, but after the meal we were still hungry and had to spend more money at another restaurant. I do want to try the chicken karage, but it’s obvious that this restaurant upcharges for the gluten free label when most of the menu is naturally gluten free. Additionally, my husband picked up our order which was sitting on the counter while he waited for 10 minutes despite him giving the woman the name. She only gave it to him when he read the name himself and pointed it out.

Nami Nori was an incredible experience! Sitting at the temaki counter was so cool, watching them prepare the food and serve it piece by piece. The service was wonderful, everyone was so nice and really cared that you have a good meal. I got the temaki starter set and every piece was delicious! Also got the tuna crudo and the Japanese fried chicken! It was nice to know everything was gluten free, will be coming back on my next NYC visit!

This place is sleek, the food is fresh, the tamaki counter is a delightful experience - worth every penny! Everything here is gluten free, I couldn't go wrong. I would love to try their Williamsburg, BK location. All of the items we had were fantastic, but we especially loved the salmon! The food was so good, I forgot to take more photos....Sorry!

Unbelievable food and 100% gluten free. Wine and Saki also top quality. So hard to choose but we started with tempura and spicy tuna dip and then a signature tamiki set. We then ordered further tamaki. Service was great too. Need to book. If you are gluten free and in New York it’s a must visit!

I loved dining here. The food is fresh and delicious. The use of real wasabi is perfect in the rolls. They are the best hand rolls I’ve had so far. Entire menu is gluten free. They offer a gluten free beer! Service was wonderful. Love the ambiance inside, and they offer a little patio area first come first serve. Definitely try to make a reservation!

I went for dinner and was seated at the back counter which was nice and quiet (until a loud group got seated at the large table in the back). We tried two appetizers (not pictured): the mushroom dip with rice crackers and the potato salad with additional ikura. Both were tasty. We also ordered the caviar service and saved some to have with our temaki. The recommended number of temaki to order per person here is 5. I went with some classics and some less traditional fillings. The nori was crisp and the fillings and toppings were fresh and tasty. My favorites of the ones I tried were the Aka Ebi and The Triple. For dessert we tried both the cookies and the mochi churros with lemon curd and they were delicious. I would definitely return for another meal. Also their entire menu is gluten free.

I heard about Nami Nori after looking for a good gluten free restaurant in the city, which is hard to fine. I came here with my wife on a date. When we walked inside, we loved the vibe, is really chill and great for romantic dates or just going with family, friends, or solo! We noticed the price was a bit high, but when we got the food, it all made sense. We had the Spicy Tuna dip as an app, which wasn't that spicey and the furikaké fries. Bot were DELICIOUS! To test the various roll, we did the signature and starter set. Same as the appetizer, the food was amazing. What stood out was how fresh the seafood was, you can taste the freshness, which I rarely experience when eating at seafood restaurants. The only roll I didn't like was the cucumber black sesame since I'm not a big fan on veggie only dishes. Overall, my wife and I had a great time. The hostess was great as well.

Excellent restaurant. Entire menu is gluten free which is great for celiacs like myself. The hand rolls are amazing, i ordered the Signature set of hand rolls, my favorite one was the coconut shrimp roll. We had several appetizers, including the spicy tuna dip, a ceviche special and fire roasted corn ribs all amazing!! The desserts were also pretty good, we had both the churros and the gluten free cookies. This place was my favorite restaurant from our recent NY trip.

100% gluten free 🙌🏼 and impeccable food and service. I would eat here every day if I had unlimited money. I wish more places would just do gluten free by default - it’s not that difficult, and Nami Nori proves it! Reservations are definitely needed. I got lucky with a cancelation this week and was able to get there within 30 min. We had the shishito peppers (I will dream of the red miso sauce!), miso soup, and a bunch of temakis. Warm Miso chocolate chip cookies for dessert 🍪 Loved it so much, I ordered delivery for lunch the following day - everything was expertly packed and presented, and honestly just as good as in person.

My husband has Celiac Disease, so he has to eat completely gluten free. Since you normally think of breads and baked goods when gluten is mentioned, that doesn't seem too complicated, but when cross contamination is a huge issue, fryers are often shared with gluten foods, and soy sauce usually includes wheat, Asian cuisine can be difficult to manage. We were THRILLED to be able to go here, and even more elated that everything was gluten free! This place was a little more expensive than we originally throught and we came out having spent around $150 for two of us for lunch, but gluten-free food wise, the world was open to us, and we loved every menu item we tried. We got the calamari as an appetizer, and it was exactly the kind of tasty chewiness I expected and love! For our main entree, we both got a temaki set. We never tried temaki before, but we loved it! The coconut shrimp was our favorite, but every one of them was absolutely wonderful! I definitely recommend this place. The food, service, and trendy look of the place were all excellent. It was a little hard to hear each other in there, but not too bad, and the bathroom was cute and clean. Pro tip: Make reservations, because they were packed even at lunch on a weekday when we went! We would've ended up waiting for a bit had we not made reservations beforehand.

Stumbled upon this place while walking about and what an absolute delight! The place is 100% gluten-free, so I was fortunate to not have to worry about anything on the menu. The flavours were absolutely incredible! I only wish I would've ordered more to be completely honest. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the city. 5 stars? More like 50 stars! Edit: have come here a second time and again, did not disappoint. Sat solo in the back and had each roll served individually to create a really lovely culinary experience.
