Having a gluten intolerance, I am always stoked when a restaurant is GF so when I saw Thunderbolt on IG being raved about by a GF influencer, I knew I had to try. I am so happy a friend and I were out and about and near their location. The atmosphere, service and food was spot on! My friend and I had the fried chicken biscuit and French fries. Portions were good so we actually just shared. We both had the Koji Killer cocktail and it was yummy. Menu is clearly marked for vegan options too. I am excited to take more friends over to Thunderbolt’s in the near future!

The food was amazing and the cocktails imaginative. I went with another person so we could share all the things that sounded good. I highly recommend the burger (juicy on brioche bun you would swear had gluten in it, but doesn't), the buttermilk biscuit that melts in your mouth (big enough to share, but you'll regret not having it all to yourself), and the chicken wings, with a crispy texture and delicious, tangy sweet taste. The fries were perfectly executed, but the seasoning was a bit spicy for me, so if that is not your thing, you can request salt sans seasoning. The dessert we had was an apple cobbler that lasted moments, it was so scrumptious.

Gluten free or not, the food is exceptional. But if you are GF, this place is a MUST. The fried chicken is all that you want it to be, get it in the biscuit and it’s more. Grits? Fire. Caesar salad? So simple, so delicious.

I spent an evening at Thunderbolt with friends and it was excellent. They have a very extensive cocktail list plus beer and wine too. There was really something for everyone! I was also excited to try their food as they have quite a few gluten free options on the menu. I had the fried green tomatoes and was very impressed! Thanks for the great food, drinks and service!

Had to wait in line even though there were plenty of space when we finally went in. The drinks were great but the food was mehhh they were wayyy too salty The biscuit is gluten free and not like regular fluffy biscuit. It was very bready and not good. The chicken drummets were good but were a bit gamey.

We went here after a small area search for celiac safe places for our daughter to eat. When we arrived and she saw the menu she was so excited to be able to order without all the questions and concerns! The food was amazing! She had French fries and chicken wings. The waitress did an amazing job at accommodating her food to her young standards too! The staff surrounding were also very hospitable! At the end they surprised her with a delicious dessert, an apple pie tart! DELICIOUS! She left full in her tummy and at heart! Thank you for the amazing accommodations! Also we ordered a whiskey sour for mom and dad! 🤯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing!!

The food is absolutely disgusting. Gluten free or not- I can’t understand how any establishment could proudly serve food of this nature. You can literally taste the rancid frying oil!!! Felt sick to my stomach

Amazing drinks and best chicken I’ve had! I’m gluten free and love the food here. The staff is always super friendly and they have a great patio. Can’t wait to go back again and again

The food tasted surprisingly well to be all gluten free, however, I got food poisoning. I've been trying to call all week to at least get a refund and no one answers the phone. Our server Nikki was amazing and very nice. I wish I could give a better review.

A visit of extremes. Great vibe and staff. The bartender recommended the Koji Killer, which was arguably the best frozen booze drink I've ever had. So, so delicious. But...the biscuits were nearly inedible. Like, I'm not sure I could make a worse biscuit if I tried. And I was under the influence. Maybe it was a bad batch? And yes, I know it was gluten free. In the end, despite wasting $7 a piece on biscuits, it was a five-star experience because the drinks were that good and it's a bar first.

As a Celiac, I cannot tell you how happy the gluten free fried chicken biscuit sandwich made me. It was so choice. I'm so happy

What a gem of a place. All food is gluten free. The cocktails are inventive and delicious. Many of them have an Asian twist that really, really works. Place is spacious and well designed. Few doors down from Park's Finest. Staff is friendly and personable. Definitely a neighborhood spot.
